Hope Pivetta can go deep tomorrow night. Since Cora’s bullpen game on Sunday the bullpen have been pretty busy, and could use a break.

Some on here were making excuses for JBJ’s bad year last year like like new team in a new league, and facing different pitchers. Glad to see being back in familiar surroundings have straightened him back out.

Yes they do, but 1 run losses, and 10 run losses count the same.

They have been listless pretty much since opening day.

It’s only 1 loss in the loss column, and better to lose this way than some of those 1 run losses in the late innings.

I keep saying that Franchy is not a 1B, so I don’t expect him to have footwork around the bag, or a gold glove either.

I think OB goes down hill everyday too, but then again I didn’t like the way Donny O was let go, and replaced with OB.

Cora messed things up by thinking he had to go to a bullpen game on Sun.

You mean like you never answering if you trust Bloom to put a team together for next year, or beyond. For the record, and you ought to know this that if I have an answer to something I’m not afraid to say it even if I was the only one to answer that way out of 100 people.

Bad excuse. All games count in the loss, and win columns, and the Sox had just won two in a row, so not starting Whitlock was not a way to keep things going. -
I didn’t know I had to answer to you, or anyone else. Why did you question that answer to the poll, but not the others? I answered the question many times that I don’t think Evol is worth $20M for any length of time. You just didn’t want to hear it, because it didn’t match your opinion.

The Red Sox deserved to lose this game. Any team who starts an opener deserves to lose. This was Whitlocks day to start, and I don’t want to hear Cora’s explanation that he needed an xtra day this early in the season.
