I would rather spend $15M on E Rod.

Upside indicators after 9 years in the league, and 30 yrs old with a 5+ ERA. He sucks plain, and simple, and a $7M contract to boot. 7 thousand should have been more like it. Not 7M.

What are the chances the Sox outbid all these teams? Even if they did it’s a step down from E Rod.

Like I’ve said before don’t mistake making diving catches as being good when some would get better jumps, and not having to dive at all.

Casey Stengel called Piersall the best he ever saw, and he managed Mays, and Mantal.

Well the longer you’ve been watching the more choices you have. I didn’t see Jimmy Piersall play with the Sox, but I’ve heard from a few that did that he was the best defensive CF the Sox ever had.

Ok, but I wasn’t talking about just people on here, but sports in general. I don’t care for any kind of analytics, and never will. I know I’m in the minority on that, and that’s the way the sports world is today, but just my opinion.
