  1. What’s chance for Story Land to open.
  2. Bogey, and Raffy just keep hitting away.
  3. I’ve tooted that horn since opening day.
  4. He can’t be lights out every night.
  5. Merry go round is loaded.
  6. Whit’s throwing a lot of pitches.
  7. I agree with most, and I have said since the Story signing that I liked the signing, because Story would help the team this year, but wouldn’t like it if it was at the expense of resigning Bogey. I’m not saying that Bogey would have to stay at SS past this year. I do think that Bogey is the leader not only in the clubhouse, but on the field as well.
  8. I said to start with 6/150 with a final offer of 6/165 starting at $25M, and going up to $30M at year 6. If that wasn’t good enough then bye bye.
  9. I listen to, and watch, and read all kinds. I like to broaden my horizons starting off the day with BBM, and usually ending with BSTN. Even Steven A once in awhile.
  10. Can’t beat Shaugnessy calling in on Mon, and Thur mornings. Love him, or hate him nothing in between.
  11. I can’t take credit for Chris Frail, because that is how he is referred to on the radio show I listen to in the morning on the Big Jab.As for Story no I don’t believe he was in the Red Sox plans to start with, but was Bloom’s idea after Henry told him to go out, and get someone. I haven’t been in on the dumpster diving, but I have gone with the bargain basement shopping. Some on here always fall back on the standing on the payroll tree, but except for Story most of the payroll has come before Bloom got here. No I wasn’t excited for the pPrice signing, because it was to big a contract when the Sox could have signed a proven Red Sox commodity in Lester. I don’t know what Bogey is asking, but would start with the 6/150, and would go up to 6/165, and that’s it.
  12. I don’t think Texas knew what they were doing outside of spending lots of money.
  13. I don’t think that was it of just not needing an agent, but it is a possibility.
  14. Lots of contracts has opt outs today.
  15. You may be right, but I also think that Boston was not Story’s first choice, but the money was to good to pass up. Seems strange that he fired his agent afterwards.
  16. The only thing I have heard was the 1 yr ext for $30M. I don’t believe a 3 yr ext for $30M would have been good enough.
  17. I don’t think Signing Story has quashed anything at all, and like I mentioned before was just a result of John Henry’s Rabbit Ears telling Bloom to go , and do something to appease the fans. Just an opinion.
  18. Moon I’d trust your trades as a GM, but I wouldn’t let you near a pen to sign any 14 yr contracts.
  19. I agree, but on the other hand just because someone is a GM doesn’t mean they are a good one, and just because something may work in Tampa doesn’t mean it will work in Boston.
  20. We’ve already moved on with all of this with a verdict that no one is going to change their mind.
  21. I agree, and I guess we’ll have to agree to disagree, because no one is changing anyones mind, and the worst thing is those 6 xtra innings losses aren’t changing to the win column either.
  22. You keep going back to the offense, which has already been established is the biggest problem, but it’s also a fact in the 0-6 xtra innings that the so called closer not named Whitlock has blown a 1 run lead. You keep hoping that those one run leads were 3 run leads, but they weren’t, and the closer blew all 6. What part of that don’t you understand?
