  1. I don’t think asking if EO was going to pitch the first two games was questioning anything!
  2. I’m not even going to answer question 1, and I said before the series that Sale wouldn’t have started any game. You had 4 starters without him. I knew the Cora groupies would come out in full force, so another plan comes together.
  3. I know some on here think this is the pulse of Red Sox Nation, but I can tell you after listening to many talk shows from Maine to Boston that it is not. Cora has been called brilliant, and a genius on here, but I think for someone who is supposed to that sure hasn’t shown that, and had a rough series against Houston starting with pitching Sale in game 1. Of course hindsight is 20/20, but if EO would have started game one they might have started out with a 3-0 series lead. Pitching Perez with. 1 run lead was like waving the white flag. I keep saying that all this lefty vs lefty thing is overrated, and all I can say is how did it work in this series with Perez, and Sale? Sale pitched a good game last time out, but was left in to long to face a batter that had already gone 2-2 against him. Lefty on lefty. He wasted bullets by EO in tied game, which I think affected him yesterday, and saved Whitlock for next season. Danny f’n Santana just being on the roster was mind boggling, and Cora actually pinch hit him for somebody. I could go on, and on, but Cora did not cause the bats to go silent, but he did not have a series of someone with a brilliant, and genius status. The talk shows said not.
  4. Your right about it should be an interesting winter.
  5. Max I think your the one who has a blind spot. Brilliant Cora is not. When the home runs dried up , so did Cora.
  6. If he is going to opt out, or won’t agree to a new contract you have to.
  7. That’s Max at his best. All he does is defend Cora.
  8. Where does it say that I have to say anything good about Cora?
  9. You can’t say the future is bright, because there are lots of questions to be answered. Bogey is just 1 of them.
  10. What did he do the first half? The Sox were hitting slams, and jumping out to 9-0 leads. Oh yeh. Cora did start Sale in game 1.
  11. No. That’s what I think of your analysis.
  12. Max stop trying to polish a turd again. You’re not good at it.
  13. You can’t talk about Cora like that on here. Some say he’s brilliant, and a genius.
  14. Looks like they have 9 Danny Santana up there batting.
  15. It’s one thing to go out with a whimper, but their not even making a sound with those bats.
  16. So Houck is still on the team.
  17. Over managing, but that is how the game is played today.
  18. As if Santana was going to get a hit. He shouldn’t be hitting for anybody.
  19. If Nate hadn’t of wasted bullets in game 4 he’d still be in there.
  20. I agree. Renfroe is in a deep slump, and his grounding into DP’s have been killers, but they wouldn’t have gotten into the postseason without him.
  21. Then don’t. I had already changed the question when you answered.
  22. If 34 was playing today he would get JD money. Pick on Schwaber? If pointing out that Schwaber has never hit more than 266, or has only had more than 71 RBI once is picking on him then I’m guilty, and if saying that Schwaber is not a rum producer like JD is picking on Schwaber then I’m guilty.
  23. Devers will be a tough situation to handle. Mookie got up to 27 million arbitration before he left, and Raffy probably will as well, so either way it will take millions to sign him. Agree on Bogey, and if he won’t restructure then moving him would be the best option then letting him walk for nothing. I still think unlike Mookie he wants to stay.
  24. I’m not disputing that there is no value, but just not the value of a run producer like JD.
  25. Good stats, and I’m not against resigning him if JD opts out, but not at JD money. Like I said he’s not the run producer that so many on here think he is. Like we’ve hashed over before that what JD does, and what the plans for Bogey, and Raffy are have to be worked out, before you can move forward with anything else for next year, and beyond.
