  1. Ok we won’t use the word lock, and we’ll go with inside track, which I don’t believe he has either. Sandoval has a career 19-45 record, and I know record isn’t everything, but, he’s NEVER had a winning season. A Career ERA over 4, and three of those seasons over 5. I don’t care what other stat you want to throw out there to me he’s still an $18M waste of money.. I do agree on Cro Man, Gray, and Bello, but outside of those 3 there are endless possibilities.
  2. Every story I read about the trade said the Password was the #3 prospect including NESN, so they All must have been wrong?🤔
  3. Buhler was not quality that some liked so much on here?🤫
  4. As I’ve said before an $18M waste, and definitely not a lock for a starting spot.
  5. I don’t think the great Sandoval that gets so much ink on here is locked in to anything at all.
  6. What a great problem to have so many starting pitchers you don’t know what to do with them all, but as we’ve seen the last few years with all the bad injury Ju Ju you may have a need for them all when it’s all said and done.
  7. Just another in a long list of coming off an injury. Hopefully he’s at least done rehabbing as he did make some starts last year. MEH.
  8. Brez sure isn’t afraid to trade off some top Suspects.
  9. On NESN it said they project him as a bottom of the rotation starter. Another comment said they traded a #3 prospect for a bottom of the rotation starter, which didn’t compute to making much sense.🤔
  10. To TARDE, or not TARDE that is the question.🤔
  11. And after all that he’s where I said he should be after 2021 in the backend of the BP, and those not blaming his injuries on being a SP are speculating. All I know the only years he’s stayed healthy is when he just stayed in the BP, and that’s not speculating.
  12. It may be early for you, but not for me, because as I’ve said before pretty much no one is untouchable to me, and that’s not the same.
  13. How is to early to tell writing them off? You guys get all excited about any Suspect that shows any kind of life in the Minors. I on the other hand to not until say it with me now until they produce in a Big league uniform, or are traded for someone who does.
  14. Whitlock has an arm for a late inning BP guy, which is where I said he should have stayed after the 2021 season. Bard also should have stayed in the BP. Not all good arms are meant to be starters. Unless you’re Hicks of course.
  15. I get that, but just, because they are cheap doesn’t mean they are going to be that good. I believe that’s why Houck, and Whit were put into the rotation when they did, and why despite Whit kept getting injured they kept him in the rotation, because he was a cheap option.
  16. We agree.👍
  17. OMG! You telling me that it’s changed today that after 35 combined innings of two pitches that you can tell already if they are going to be any good, or not? 🙈👋
  18. How about the infamous Billy Rohr in 1967. His first start he came within 1 out of a no hitter against the Yankees, and then his next start pitched a per complete game against the Yankees allowing 1 run, and then was really not heard from much after that.
  19. Exactly. It’s to early to tell if they are going to be any good, or not, or even more should be untouchable.
  20. How the pitchers do on the mound distinguishes how good your rotation is, and how good that particular pitcher is.. Not the number assigned to them. As I’ve asked before do you before a game look at the matchup that particular day, and say we got a #4 going against their #2? You should already know who the better pitcher is. I’m not saying there is anything wrong with it, but just not needed for me.
  21. To me numbering starters 1-5 is overthinking it in the first place. To you really have to assign a number to someone to help tell they might be better than another?🤭🤫
  22. I was specifically talking about Tolle, and Early not being untouchable, and not necessarily trading for any one player. NO they are not Lester, or anything close after 35 innings. In other words still SUSPECTS at this point despite some thinking otherwise at this point.🙈
  23. Early, and Tolle untouchable? They’ve got 35 career innings between them. I would think they are far from untouchable. Hurst, and Lester they are Not after throwing such few innings, and may not ever be, so wheel em, and deal em.🤭
  24. Bloom did, and Brez has followed in his footsteps.🙈
