  1. Good to see the much maligned Story get 2 hits with one being a HR. On the other side DUBin 0-3 all k’s, and Duran 0-4 with 2 k’s.
  2. I’ve said before that I applaud the diehards who watch every game.👏
  3. That’s true, but both have better track records for that to happen.
  4. I agree. Usually I take the Red Sox off the back burner after the Bruins, and Celtics are done, but not this year. Watching the WNBA is more exciting to me.
  5. Oh not not bashing, and casting stones! What is this site coming to? What’s next? Apologizing, or defending Brez?😉
  6. It doesn’t mean Bregman, and Alonso wouldn’t have better stats if playing in Fenway just as I believe Raffy would.
  7. I understand there were fans at Fenway last night with bags on their heads. Could have been Cora, but it could get ugly.
  8. If you traded Chapman, and Whitlock then you would also need to replace them next year.
  9. You’re always trying to get the Red Sox to pay off other teams to take someone off their hands.🤭
  10. Why would the Angels want Masa to begin with? The fact that Masa is still with the Red Sox says more that they can’t get anyone to take him than they want to keep him.
  11. I don’t see the Red Sox taking on Trout’s contract let alone chipping in some money to take Masa.
  12. And that bat was Alonso whom they offered a contract to first, and then pivoted to Con Man.
  13. Bregman did not come back, because of LOWbres from the start of negotiations until the end.
  14. I agree. Ortiz is not coming through that door. Many is not coming through that door. Putting all the expectations from all the hype on little Anthony that so many on here, there, and everywhere did was dumb.
  15. That was the tidbit that hit Felger’s phone for what it was worth that he talked about last night. Duran, and Bello for Trout.
  16. If Story thought he could make more money than what was left on his Red Sox contract he would have opted out. The fact that he didn’t tells a lot.
  17. Bingo! Not every prospect works out no matter how high they are ranked.
  18. Good post, and I agree that even when the Red Sox had some bad teams in the early 1960’s they could sill put up some runs. Even watching Earl Wilson hit was more exciting than some of the ineptness going on now. It is much more exciting to me to watch the Red Sox score 9 runs than it is to scratch, and claw for 1 run even in a loss.
  19. But at least those teams scored some runs.
  20. #5 team? They are 7 games UNDER 500! I don’t care if that put them in 1st place. THEY SUCK! You keep saying if this, and if that. If doesn’t count, and isn’t happening.🙈
  21. They ignored the offense for the most part, because Alonso whom they offered a contract to first was to expensive whom was going to supplement Bregman who they wanted all along, but he was to expensive too. The storyline that the Red Sox didn’t drop off much last year after Raffy left is factually true, but most likely would have been better if he would have stayed, and especially was missed against the YANKEES In the postseason.
  22. Agree on that. LLL. Lifeless, Listless, LOSERS with Slumber in the Lumber.
