    You guys are going way to deep on this, but THE FACT still remains I never said Bloom signed Sales, which you, and your heel tag team partner said I did.

    He couldn’t, and I didn’t say he could, but only that the Red Sox already had old, and injured players coming back, and didn’t mean anything more than that. It wasn’t meant to have any deep meaning to it.

    I don’t see that happening unless signings go up even more next off season. Raffy has seen what Bogey could have signed for last offseason, and what he signed for this offseason, but now the big money is blowing in the wind.

    This was my post in response to moon’s Should Bloom bring back our wounded, and old dogs. NOWHERE does it say that I said Bloom signed Sale. I said he brought him back. Bring someone back is not signing him.

    I think the Devers can be signed for less money right now ship has sailed. Maybe a year ago, but certainly not now.

They made him look for that 3rd option in the fork in the road at the trade deadline, and they made him stay above the lux tax.

    What spin from a guy who said Raffy was going to be the DH this season, so it would keep the asking price down, so the Sox would have a better chance to sign him.

    I know it’s hard for some to believe on here, but everything that Bloom has done that hasn’t turned out good you can’t blame on JH, or even DD for that matter.

    But his deals were. I know you liked the JBJ deal, but that deal was DOA.

    Over dramatized as usual, and yes the Red Sox would have had their beloved stars. You finally understand what a lot of fans have been saying. What I don’t hear them saying is that oh boy the farm system is ranked higher now. Different strokes for different folks.

    The Red Sox were always a day late, and a dollar short with Mookie. By the time they offered $200M it had gone up to $300M, and by the time they offered him $300M it had gone up to $400M.

    Two possible answers that are pretty much the same they are so incompetent they didn’t know any better, or the are just spinning, and grinning, and still being incompetent.

    JH should have just ponied up, and signed Mookie, Bogey, and Raffy, and then sold the team to someone who wants to really play ball. That would have done a lot more to ease the tension.

    No gaffe at all. I know what I was saying, and the ridiculous DH statement was not long ago. Just because you like to play gotcha it works both ways.

    For someone who can’t figure out why it’s not the same thing to lose Pedro, or Boggs as it is to lose Mookie, Bogey, and Raffy for the fans when it was pretty clear in the first place, and others even tried to point it out to you, and you still don’t get, and you want to say something about others.

    Go back to your conspiracy theory like the Red Sox are going to make Raffy a DH, so they can hold the asking price down on a new contract. Ridiculous! Holding the asking price down on Raffy ship has sailed.

    I would say Bloom’s name gets mentioned more than anyone else on here, there, and everywhere. Lots of first, and last names too.

    Everyone in the universe knows who signed Frail to the extension, and anyone being cheap wasn’t the point. Old, and injured was, and Frail is as old, and injured as you can get.
