  1. A big market team like the Boston Red Sox should NEVER have to have anything close to a five year plan, and should be a winning competitive team every year. This is total failure from JH on down.
  2. I don’t care about his wear, and tear. He was signed to play SS, and if he can’t handle it physically he shouldn’t have been signed in the first place. Like I said he won’t be playing in short RF this year, so let him cover the ground at SS. Arroyo at 2B sounds like a chance Bloom is willing to take.Story is the perfect fit at SS.
  3. If Bloom, and JH listened to the Crybaby fans Mookie, Bogey, and Raffy would have been all locked up by the Sox. My theory is just Bloom being Bloom, and once again not a good thing.
  4. You act so surprised, and didn’t see it coming that Bloom could do such a thing. Me I’m not surprised Bloom did this at all. Just another example of Bloom being in over his head.
  5. Nailed it. I agree 100%. Kennedy, and Bloom are not that good at acting. Can we get a facial expression expert?
  6. Story was signed to be a SS, so put him out there, and let him earn his money. He can’t play short RF at second anymore anyways. If they don’t want Arroyo at 2B then Iggy would be a fit there.
  7. Rich Hill to the Pirates for 1yr/$8M. Good for him that he gets to pitch another year, but going to Pittsburg not so good.
  8. I agree 100% that both Bloom, and Henry are to blame. Bloom read the room so bad that when it came time to pay Henry didn’t want to pay that much. Bloom reading the room so bad to me is the bigger issue than Henry not wanting to pay where the money had gone up to.
  9. I think JH, Bloom, and Kennedy were just trolling Red Sox fans about really wanting Bogey back. It worked on some. Correa is now having contract issues with the Mets, and if it falls through maybe Bloom is ready to pounce, and scoop him up.
  10. It is sad that you just hang out in your little bubble. Like I said I have not heard anywhere else that the sad fate of the Red Sox today has been caused by Richards, and Perez courtesy of Bloom. What a real shallow analysis that is. Of course you’d have to have that to fit your narrative.
  11. I actually thought you were better than that to think Perez, and Richards should be on a top 3 list of the many of Blooms Blunders, but you’ve proven beyond no doubt I was wrong, and now I know why you protect Bloom so much, because you don’t have much of a clue on all the things he’s done wrong, so your not coming from the same place that all of Blooms critics are coming from. Sad, but true.
  12. I’ve already listed many things today in previous post, and in post on other days for the past year now, and no none of them had Perez, and Richards on them, nor did they ever come to mind as any thing of importance.
  13. Your right again that Bloom had 3 years to work on Bogey, and Raffy’s contract, and should have been added to your top 5 list.
  14. I agree with you that without Mookie, Bogey, and Raffy a very bleak long term outlook it is. Courtesy of Bloom, and JH.
  15. Your top three with Perez, and Richards on it is comparable to the bogus offer the Red Sox offered Bogey last offseason, and doesn’t warrant a counter. Wow!
  16. Talking about sticking someone’s head in the sand. To say that Perez, and Richards are two of the top three mistakes Bloom has made is burying your whole body. Wow! What an example.
  17. DD was Fired after 4 winning seasons, and a world championship to boot. Judging by that Bloom should be out the door already, or not had been hired at all.
  18. I’ve said all along that Bloom had three years to not only deal with Bogey, and Raffy, but all the other expiring contracts as well, and outside of Vaz nobody else was signed, or dealt, and yes still ended up over the tax line, so that ended up to being how many non moves. Starting out with a bad plan for the backend of the BP last year, and watching the circus at 1B, and CF, and not doing anything for 2 months were also non moves that hurt the ball club, so add it all up, and the numbers are up there.
  19. Well said. Like I’ve also been saying for some time now that I believe most Red Sox fans mostly care about here, and now. Here, and now, and here, and now.
  20. No one knows whose theory is right, but I’ll stick with mine. If the Red Sox would have offered at least 6/150 last offseason I’d had no problem with it, but the asinine offer they came out with is a cluster all the way around. The
  21. Still going with the theory that top brass did not think Bogey was worth the lowest price Boris would take at any point when the other theory, which I believe was more plausible is that Bloom misread the room so bad on what Bogey was really worth. Protect Bloom at all cost.
  22. I think we both know the answer to that question? The Red Sox would be a lot better off to have kept Bogey, and got rid of Bloom.
  23. It’s not weird for someone in over their head, and being the front man for the first time.
  24. Wow! You still think Perez, and Richards still rank as Bloom’s biggest mistakes. I haven’t heard anyone else say that, but your entitled to your opinion.
  25. To think Bloom’s 3 biggest failures are Renfroe, Richards, and Perez are a big problem in itself. No wander blaming Bloom isn’t as bad as it should be to some.
