  1. The great, and objective John Tomase said it this way. This Red Sox team is the least talented team in the JH era to start off the season.I don’t think anyone predicted what happened in 2021, nor what happened last year, so I’m not predicting at all. I will say that a lot of things will have to go right for this team to be anything like 2021 starting with good health of the starting staff.
  2. That’s an easy one. JH!
  3. Low 40’s 15-25 WNW breeze with higher guest a great day for baseball.
  4. Dick from Dayton tops them all.
  5. What was it about Price? Yuck about ERod’s rehab appearance. Wow! Once again way over the top.
  6. Yea Eck was really tough on Price Saying he took to long between pitches was really over the top.
  7. I listen to everyone both yea, and nay.
  8. I believe pretty much all players pretty much know what is being said about them, and in Boston that includes Cora, Bloom, Kennedy, and especially JH, and it comes from many different sources. Who knows maybe even Talksox.
  9. Oh that bad bad Shaugnessy again.
  10. All I said was that I was at the wait, and see mode on Yoshida to see how he handles playing in Boston just like I do with anyone, and you guys took it from there. I was agreeing with you that there might not be the same kind of pressure now that there has been in previous years, and that Bloom is under the most pressure. I didn’t know my opinion would cause such a tizzy.
  11. You don’t think the sports writers are justified in tempering their expectations for the Red Sox for this coming season? Is the old joint sold out for tomorrow’s game? I would say to start the season there is not much steam in the old pressure cooker. Like I said earlier the pressure cooker is being held by Bloom.
  12. I’ll agree that the microscope isn’t what it once was for the players. Bloom being a team player has put most of the microscope on himself.
  13. Do you really think all talk radio, and sports media are the same in every city?
  14. Say it ain’t so! You
  15. If you think every player who has come to Boston has handled it well then I think you are wrong, because I don’t, and that is my opinion. s***** reporters? How about those bad sports radio talk show callers, and yes wait for it those bad posters on TalkSox, and other venues of the like.
  16. Yes! I’m always on a wait, and see when someone comes to Boston to see how they handle playing there. Some embrace it, and some don’t.
  17. I’m still on the wait, and see mode on Yoshida, and how he handles playing in BOSTON.
  18. Noah Song opens the season on the Phillies IL, so they are still hanging on to him.
  19. I know it’s still ST, and it doesn’t count for anything, but it still doesn’t look good, and a little worrisome.
  20. Atlanta is a good hitting club, and their A lineup was in there today. There wasn’t to many games this spring that the Red Sox pitching faced the other teams A lineup.
  21. Bombs away too!
  22. Either way I don’t believe it will have much of an affect on the upcoming season.
  23. I agree with that being reasonable. Lots of things would have to go right to be any better. Anything’s possible though, but to me very unlikely. Hope I’m wrong!
  24. I thought that was Walmart greeter Sam Kennedy’s job he done such a great job at media relations.
