    A big market club like the Red Sox should never have as many last place finishes as they’ve had, or the need to have any major rebuilding plans. Times up!

    Reggie Smith was a 2B too, before he moved to CF. So what? The Red Sox already have their next SS of the future in Portland with Mayer, so RAF I believe stays in the OF. He’s still a ways away from seeing time in Boston. Nice try.

    Well written, and I agree 100%. I’m still trying to understand what Bloom means when he said things are going to be awesome.

    A starter who goes 7 innings, and gives up 3 runs, or less, or a starter who goes 6 innings, and gives up 2 runs, or less. That to me is a quality start. I could care less about a ton of heart. Throw dam strikes.

    It will be interesting to see what Bloom does with the Arroyo, and Duvall situations on who comes, and goes. To many IF, and you don’t need 6 OF.

    Arroyo is back very soon, and he’ll be in the mix somewhere.

    My main point is that Kike is not that good a hitter himself. I not debating any other points.

    The way Duran is hitting? How about the way Kike is hitting, or not hitting as the case may be? Kike shouldn’t be playing everyday platoon, or not?

    If Hamilton hasn’t come up by now especially with all the injuries he’s not, and Rafaela is not coming up now either.

    Arroyo must be about ready to come back, so some move is going to have to be made there, and Kike’s bat isn’t good enough to stick anywhere unless he’s a big upgrade somewhere for D.

    Agree 100%, but Kike is Cora’s favorite son. I said it at the time, and I’ve said it many times since that the Red Sox could have made better use with that $10M.
