You can also sit there with a straight face like you always do and say you are not apologizing, or defending JH, which you always are. 👋

    I know you think more highly of Bregman than I do, and wanted him back, but this was all pretty much assumed at least by me that this was always going to be just a one, and done when he signed what was pretty much just a one year deal last offseason, which makes the Raffy situation all the more puzzling. Once other teams got involved this offseason that were serious bidders it sealed the fate.

    Yes we feel the bottom line is more important to JH than the rings at this point, and yes back when JH first bought the Red Sox he was convinced otherwise, and that is why JH is not the same guy today as when he first bought the Red Sox. Simple as that, and nothing more, and nothing less all IMO.👋

    Well said. I’ve been saying for the last for 3 years now that the JH of today is not the same JH that bought the Red Sox. 20+ years ago, and his priority is not the same like defeating the Evil EMPIRE. Back then too as JH said on the Felger, and Mazz show that LL runs the Red SOX, and that hasn’t been the case for years now.

    I know what the definition of what sham is, but not only did I not believe it I didn’t really pay any attention to it. You bought it hook, line, and sinker. You have a problem with it, and I don’t. Just like I don’t pay any attention to what Sam says at the year end presser every year. Like I said before the Red SOX have been peeing on fans, and telling them it’s rain. Some have figured out to get a raincoat, and some have not.

    Full throttle was only a sham if you believed it. I didn’t. I’ve been saying the last three off seasons that I’ll believe it when I see it, so no I didn’t think it was a sham.

    If teams want Skubal bad enough to trade for I don’t think it would matter at all if he’s making $19M, or $25M, and that will have NO BEARING on what Skubal will get in the future. What he gets in 2026 won’t matter when it comes to signing him long term after that IMO.

    I understand fully the arbitration guy can’t pick $25M, but that doesn’t mean the Tigers, and Skubal can’t get together before arbitration, and settle.🙈
