  1. I’m not disputing anything you said about the eye test sitting, and watching on a TV. I’ve played enough ball, and been to enough games to know the difference. All I’ve ever said is that the eye test is good enough for me, and that is what seems to be a problem for some. The key is good enough for me.
  2. I think the Kut Man, and Pivetta deserve to stay in the rotation, so if you can get 1 healthy starter out of Sale, Whit, or Houck, and the other 2 go to the BP they could have a deep BP. Of course the big if is staying healthy, which the 3 haven’t been able to stay, but with only 2 months left they might have a chance.
  3. Doesn’t the top wildcard record get home field, and play all the games there?
  4. Like I said the eye test have set bells, and whistles off 100 times over. Yes all opinions matter, but the crying comes with the bells, and whistles.
  5. I LMAO every time the eye test sets off the bells, and whistles. It happens every time.
  6. You must be more needy than I am. It doesn’t tell me everything, but it tells me all I need to know, and that bugs the crap out of you, and others.
  7. Watching Kike throw the ball away time after time was not an illusion. The eye test is not everything, but it’s good enough for me. Being there in person tells you a lot more than TV, but once again seeing Kike lead the world in throwing errors on TV was far from an illusion.
  8. It shouldn’t be, but it always is. Eye test always sets off alarms, and sirens.
  9. Depends what I’m reading, and from whom.
  10. According to you, and others it doesn’t really matter, because even if they sneak into the postseason they won’t go anywhere anyway.
  11. Agree. They have been bad eye test, or whatever stats you want to use.
  12. LMAO on all of this.Just voicing my opinion like everyone else, and that the eye test is good enough for me, and the eye test always sends some into a tizzy. Hilarious!
  13. No one said not allowed I just said I don’t need a ranking, and that my eyes have told me all I need to see without ranking anything. Just my opinion.
  14. Not when you needed help weeks ago, and every game counts.
  15. I don’t think most fans care where the Red Sox rank on D, and can SEE for themselves it is not very good. If you need the rankings good for you.
  16. You need all of this? The eye test should tell you all you need to know.
  17. Kike has upside? He hasn’t hit in 2 years now. He may have a little bit better bat than Chang, or Reyes, but that’s not saying much. Chang solidified the D at SS before he got hurt, and he’s done it since he’s come back. I don’t understand at all why Cora kept putting Kike out there as long as he did.
  18. It’s really not hard to understand. I got it the first time I heard it, and I agree.
  19. That is true about living in New England I think you get a lot better vibe, and pulse on the Red Sox than you would in living in Fla, or TX.
  20. If there is good vibes in the clubhouse it probably stems from none of the rumored players getting traded than anything else, and a big sigh of relief.
  21. Do you think he finally told Cora to take Kike off SS.
  22. Next it will be Cora doesn’t make out the lineup, or the pitching changes it’s the coaches.
  23. Appease the fans? How about appeasing the players in the clubhouse, which is most important. Raffy said the team needed pitching meaning now where every game is important, and not waiting for the inured pitchers to come back. God forbid the 2023 team would get some help that had no implications for 2024, or beyond.
