  1. Playing meaningless games in garbage time is what the Red Sox have been regulated to do by Bloom, and some actually get giddy on here after a few wins, and think the Red Sox are actually better than they really are. I’m not one of those.
  2. Ah, your, and Moon’s company line. Very nice that you wave Pom Poms, but where did that short time euphoria get you the last two years. Last place, and out of the postseason, so keep on waving those Pom Poms when you get giddy, and then just sit back, and watch as things go back to s*****.
  3. Nah, let’s pay him $100M to hit ground balls instead.
  4. O’Halloran accepts Exec VP of baseball ops today. Kennedy already has said they expect Cora to be back as Red Sox manger. Sounds like an inside job coming to new GM, or whatever title they give him. If not it’s nice that the Red Sox have already filled some positions for him.
  5. In the here, and now of course.
  6. Hard to believe isn’t it that WL records would matter most to fans?
  7. I believe that would be 700, or many others. I just wouldn’t have hired him, or anyone else back under the same situation.
  8. I’d say you, but I forgot you’re not a Bloom guy.🙈
  9. What happened to supposedly the Red Sox playing an easier schedule this year, because they wouldn’t have to play against the Div teams as much? I guess it wasn’t easier enough.
  10. To listen to some on here they must have named a movie Against All Odds, and a song The Impossible Dream after Blooms tenure with the Red Sox.
  11. That’s because lots of people like chicken, and beer.
  12. Just the opposite. I do.
  13. If I had a $ for every time I heard budget slashed, 5 year plan, rebuild, all in, building up the farm, and foundation ect on here I’d be rich, but if I had a $ for every time I heard it elsewhere Id go broke.
  14. I give JH an F for hiring Bloom in the first place, and another F for not even interviewing anyone else.
  15. I don’t know about that, because I’m not so sure that would be your best OF at the moment. All 3 vets have been struggling somewhat.
  16. All the vets back in the OF tonight.
  17. Bobby D started out as a 3B, so it didn’t help his D moving to 1B. It doesn’t work with everyone.
  18. I’ll say it again, but don’t count out Bobby D if JT doesn’t come back.
  19. I’m not moving Devers anywhere as a backup.
  20. I would move Yoshida if I could. I would also bring JT back.
  21. Toronto lost their SS for a while, so they went out, and got another one. It didn’t work out, but they tried. They lost their closer, so they went out, and got another one, who is now the setup man with the closer back.
  22. Time will tell, but I’m leaning to an inside job with Cora getting more of a say. Don’t know if that’s what’s best, but what might happen. They only interviewed Bloom last time, and I’m not to sure there is a long line waiting to work for JH.
  23. How could anyone forget him?
  24. Devers is the best player on the team, but his Errors at 3B has been a problem.
  25. Like I keep saying that JH is not the same guy when he first bought the Red Sox as he is today. No doubt he’s been a good owner, but the Red Sox didn’t win in 1967, 1975, 1978, or 1986, because of who the owner was.
