  1. And still no word about NG. Very interesting in the least.
  2. If Cora had a hand, and a voice in getting Bloom fired, which I believe he did he is my hero, and more than likely many others as well. Give me a hell yea, and he’s a jolly good fellow!
  3. I can hear Bloom now as he’s driving the ship into a sandbar saying hold on everyone this trip is going to be AWESOME!
  4. Bloom may have stabbed Cora in a roundabout way with the roster construction, but he really didn’t have much of a clue what he was doing. On the other side Cora knew exactly what he was doing in helping to get rid of Bloom. Bloom (Gilligan) was driving the dysfunctional ship, and now with a new skipper it should be smooth sailing again.
  5. The players didn’t even invite Tito, and Theo in for chicken, and beer.
  6. Don’t like the truth? You throw out Bashers with ease.
  7. Just the tone that Cora said he was safe you may be right. I’m sending Cora one of my Bloom Basher t shirts to go with his underdog one.
  8. When Cora told reporters he was safe for next year what you didn’t see was Cora rubbing his hands together, and saying ha, ha Bloom is gone, and I am safe. Now that’s rubbing it in.
  9. And this is from the guy who admits he sounds like a broken record, and does.
  10. Good article in SB Nation by Bryan Joyner how the Red Sox have been handed a lifeline by the Marlins by f’ing over Kim NG. Not only would she be a good PR move not like the Red Sox need it, or anything, but she is also the most qualified for the job. Will Henry, or won’t Henry do it?
  11. The 2011 blew themselves up in Sept of that year.
  12. The good, or the bad is how much of what he said was true?
  13. Really that’s the best you can come up with? Bloom was just getting his feet wet two years in, but after four years he was in over his head, and drowned.
  14. You mean like Cora? The funny part is when you called me, and others bashers you didn’t know Cora was the ring leader, who had a direct path to JH’s ear, and I believed he used that path more than once, and that had something to do with Bloom getting fired when he did.
  15. The MASSIVE budget cuts were a MASSIVE exaggeration to fit a continuing narrative for a reason Bloom couldn’t succeed. Obviously it was a tall task for Bloom who did go over the CBT in 2022 with all his wheeling, and dealing.
  16. Do you think Bloom was fired just for the sake of change? I have no idea what DD would have done, or even Theo for that matter. The word out there was that DD was in trade discussions with the Dodgers during the 2019 about Mookie, so I have no doubt DD would have traded Mookie after the 2019 season. What he would have gotten back in either scenario I don’t know. Yes I said on Day 1 that Bloom was a bad hire, but I also said on day 1 that i wouldn’t have signed Price for that big contract, and I said on day 1 that i wouldn’t have resigned Sale, so I haven’t always defended DD. The main point all along is that I don’t agree with the theory, and concept that just because Bloom was a failure in Boston that not everyone else would have been a failure too in the same situations including DD. Bloom is not even in the same league as DD who has had a long, and distinguished career, and Bloom has a short, and losing career as a front man. DD was fired, because he had a falling out with JH, which I take was over the philosophy of going forward after three years of first place finishes, and a WS title, so JH wasn’t careful what he wished for, and ended up with Gloom, and Doom Bloom. If you ask DD he doesn’t know why he was fired, but we all know why Bloom got fired.
  17. 🤭🙈🤭.
  18. I can hear the chant now from Bloom’s biggest supporter. Chaim Bloom he’s my man if he can’t do it no one can!
  19. It also makes no sense to assume it won’t. One on here has gone on, and on for two years now theorizing that, because Bloom failed under the conditions he was handed, and had to work with that no one else could have succeeded either especially DD. Like Bloom who was in over his head from day 1 was the standard to go by. Just because Bloom failed in no means mean that everyone else would too especially someone who’s experienced like DD.
  20. I got your point 100%, and it’s still WOW!🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈.
  21. You are not comparing Bloom to Vince are you? That’s about as big a stretch as you can get. Vince is a legend, and Bloom is a loser. WOW!
  22. Complaining about the schedule, and being in the same Div the Red Sox have been in since divisions were brought in to me is whining, and crying, and saying poor me. Bloom having one winning season out of four, which was good enough at 22 games over 500 does not make up for 3 losing seasons even if the team was 80-82. I didn’t say 2021 didn’t count. If it makes you feel better count it go ahead, and add things all up, but obviously it wasn’t good enough for JH.
  23. I certainly didn’t expect another season like 2018 in 2019, but just not that big a drop off.
  24. DD gets a lot of the blame for the 2019 season, but the team wasn’t ready to start the season either especially the pitching staff.
  25. The lasting impression of Bloom are him telling people things were going to be awesome, and him picking up trash in the stands at Fenway between games no doubt looking for more pitching help.
