  1. All I’ve said is that I’m not sure these guys will live up to the hype that you, and others are counting on. Just like I think it’s a very risky proposition to go into next season with a core group in the OF of Raf Man, and Abreu. Not to mention Duran. If all these guys work out then great, but I want to see it first.
  2. I’ve seen enough through the years starting with all the homegrown talent from the 67 team to the Rice, Lynne, Evans, and Fisk teams right up to the Mookie, Bogey, and Raffy teams. Now if you can see better than me that the Mayer, Teel Anthony, and whomever else you want to throw in there that has hype is going to be the next group that takes the Red Sox to the promise land then I hope your right., but if not what have you got then?
  3. That’s true, and DD added some pieces, and I agree JH needs to spend, but I’m not so sure that the Red Sox are as likely to be as good with the young talent coming that is hyped up on here all the time. Not Mookie, Raffy, and Bogey good anyways.
  4. I don’t think there is much of a lure of coming to Boston anymore. Not for HOBO candidates, or players too. Big change, and it didn’t take long to get there.
  5. Wasn’t there a big difference when DD was in charge? The team had 3 first place in the Div finishes, a WS title, and 4 winning seasons. Look at the state of not only the whole organization, but the team now. Not only a difference, but a bad difference. Meet with the Yam Man, and pony up $400M, and let’s go full throttle, and get this done.
  6. No reason to freak out at all the 26 man is in great shape. Oh wait a minute this team has had a losing record the last two years, and very little, or anything at all has been added to change that, so if the 26 man was getting better this wouldn’t even be a blip on the radar. Even getting outbid by the mighty Royals for Lugo wouldn’t be big news, but as things are, and as things have been the last two years every single move, or non move gets scrutinized, and then scrutinized again.
  7. ND gets transfer QB from Duke. It seems like the last 4 years ND has had trouble signing, and developing their own QB, and has had to go outside to get one. Buchner was supposed to being the next big thing, and he got hurt, and sucked anyway.
  8. Maybe the Red Sox will be good again in 2028 if every single suspect lives up to their hype.🤫
  9. Moon? Moon? Is that the guy who claimed he wasn’t a Bloom guy?
  10. Ok! I’ll see if I can find another poll.
  11. I guess it must not be his birthday next year like it was this year.
  12. I don’t even know what we are talking about anymore, so I was just suggesting to agree to disagree.
  13. Therefore we disagree.
  14. Word count maybe, but I’m not the one who had a problem with some little poll that you don’t agree with the other answers, or opinion that is different from yours. It’s just a little poll that in the big scheme of things doesn’t really matter one way, or the other. It’s not going to change anything no matter how the vote went just like any poll on here.
  15. I don’t know if other adventures affects the Red Sox payroll, or not, but I take it they all have their separate pools of money, but I don’t know that for sure. Like I keep asking does JH have a lot more other adventures, or interests going on today than when he bought the Red Sox. The fact is he does, and all I’m saying is that with all these other adventures JH just doesn’t have as much interest in the Red Sox as he used to. The PGA adventure was just brought up a couple days ago both on radio, and TV, and it had the same opinion as I do as more outside interests, and with more outside interests going on its less interest in the Red Sox.
  16. I would rather have LL there.
  17. I would rather have LL there.
  18. Bringing up the PGA is JH latest adventure, so it’s pretty self explanatory. Latest adventure that JH now has going going of the many adventures that JH has going since he bought the Red Sox that for some reason you don’t think matters, and can’t see why JH just might not have the same interest in the Red Sox that he once had. It’s been brought up many times, and was was just the other day when the PGA thing came up, but I guess you just don’t venture out to the same outlets that I do, and if you did you would have heard it many times from many different people.
  19. I’m not the one being bothered, and going on, and on over someone mentioning a poll. I just happened to be the guilty party by mentioning it.
  20. Who are the Red Sox going to bring to the meeting to close the deal outside of Sam of course? Papi? Pedro? Yoshida?
  21. Once again why does a little poll that was done on tv that you wasn’t even involved in bother you so much? I wasn’t involved either, but I thought it was interesting of the different opinions. Sure you can disagree with those who didn’t vote the way that you would have just like they could disagree with you. It’s not that complicated, and no the poll was not all one way, nor would i expect it to be. Usually polls don’t end in a tie, and there is going to be a majority, and a minority. It doesn’t mean that any side is right, or any side was wrong. It’s just an opinion, and everyone has one like it, or not. I’m in the minority opinion more times than not on here, but it’s no big deal.
  22. Once again where does it say JH doesn’t care about the Red Sox? You are doing the reading into something that happens all the time on here, and running with it rather it’s the point, or not. Doesn’t have as much interest in the Red Sox, or having no interest at all are two different things. How many other adventures did JH have when he bought the Red Sox? How many other adventures does he have now? Is there not a difference? PGA is the latest adventure, so if you still think that JH has as much interest in the Red Sox as when he first bought the Red Sox that’s fine, and we just disagree, but it’s not something that should take up this much time, and effort. Nothing wrong at all with disagreeing. No harm. No foul.
  23. The little poll on I saw, and heard on TV seems for some reason to bother you so much, because it doesn’t match what your opinion would be. All I say is that most of what I hear outside of here rather it be tv, radio, newspaper, or in person pretty much does not match what I hear on here most of the time. I have said what I hear either at PF, or the bowling alley comes from different fan bases even Yankee fans, so I hear all kinds, and have said many times I like to hear as many opinions as I can get even from Mazz, or Shaugnessy that you guys go off on. Pretty funny.
  24. Who was talking about payroll? More different interest means just that, and the main priority to take down the evil empire just isn’t there anymore. Interest does not mean payroll, which you seem to be hung up on. Like I keep saying the PGA would be a new toy, and the Red Sox are his old toy. Disagree is fine, but at least know what we are disagreeing about.
  25. It was just one little poll that you guys are making such a big deal about. Run free, run wild with it.
