Not necessarily. You have to have a base, or foundation first. The farm is not a foundation, but an addition. Raffy Bogey, and Mookie should be the foundation now, and then additions can be added by the farm, and elsewhere. Yes those 3 were from the farm, but what was they added to when they came up?

Bottom line farm rankings doesn’t guarantee success at the big leagues level, and the big leagues level is what’s most important.

Many blamed Bloom for not knowing how to spend, and twittleing his thumbs at the trade deadline.

Cooper would be two expensive just to be a backup, and that’s why I said if the season started today I believe Bobby D would be the backup at 1B/3B. A cheap option at that.

Cooper would not be brought in for any kind of OF time, and 1B/DH would be his calling card.
