  1. I would have rather it be with any other team than the Yankees.
  2. Dugy will come back to haunt the Red Sox more than once in those Yankee pinstripes.
  3. Wow! 3 suspects.
  4. I have already answered this many times, and Bell has told you that more than once. It started out as just a little foul odor, and it increased to stink, stank, stunk with every year Bloom was here.
  5. Yes I misspoke about going over at the deadline, but he did stay over as his results of comings, and goings, or lack of the latter.
  6. Bloom got a LF when the team needed a CF/RF, and was handed a much needed 1B. He also went over the CBT in the process, and yes the lack of good results showed.
  7. Speaking of Mookie according to Dave Roberts that Betts will be the FT Dodgers 2B next year.
  8. Especially after the two polls the AP, and the Coaches poll had Fla State in the top 4 also. Like I keep saying deciding who gets in by a bunch of guys in a smoke filled rm is a very flawed system, but then again college FB has always flawed. I still remember back in the day when ND jumped from 5th to ist after winning a bowl game.
  9. The Red Sox will not hire a new 3B coach as he will come from the present staff.
  10. On here anyway.
  11. Word it however you want to, but it doesn’t change the fact that someone put a bug in JH ear to hire Bloom, and the rest is history. Did I ever mention that I could smell a stench in the air the second I heard about Bloom being hired?
  12. JH apparently was.
  13. I wouldn’t go that far to call Bloom an idiot. He was just in way over his head. Big difference between sitting in the nerd room in Tampa, and being the front man in Boston.
  14. Bloom proved he wasn’t one of them who could do both.
  15. I just can’t see Bloom being hired at all.
  16. Maybe not, but a better 2021, 2022, and 2023 teams yes.
  17. Some just like to dream about the future instead of playing in the present. To me watching a bad losing team who played bad D from day 1, who were bad on the bases, and used openers after openers like the just completed season was worse than watching the 1966 Red Sox. It doesn’t help to me that 2018 wasn’t that long ago when the Red Sox last won a championship. It didn’t take away the 2020, 2022, and 2023 seasons who some saw a mirage especially the last two years, and actually thought the Red Sox had a chance to make the PS.
  18. Ah the future looking bright, and not the here, and now is one of the reasons that Bloom got fired. The future isn’t always as cracked up as it seems to be, and neither does the foundation. Like Cora said it doesn’t matter what the farm ranking is when you are sitting in last place with a losing record.
  19. The 2022, and 2023 teams were just mirages to me that some saw like beating up on the Jays, and Yankees earlier last season as the team being that good. Once the mirages went away the Red Sox went away. Bad D, opener after opener, and the lumber going into a slumber were not mirages, and the real Red Sox finished where they should have.
  20. 1 last place finish to me is unacceptable no matter how many titles are won.
  21. No, but some try very hard, and say others are wrong, or is it just my imagination?
  22. Now that would have been a real punishment.
  23. I think everyone knows this, and is not in dispute, but it doesn’t change anyone’s opinion.
