  1. Your right those two teams especially the 67 team was my favorite, because I was younger, and to me when your younger they seem to be bigger in aura than when you get older. Plus in 67 too they wasn’t on TV that often, and you had to tune into the old AM radio.
  2. Nobody said please stop winning titles.🙈
  3. I’ve always said the 1967 team was my favorite team, and 1975 is next, and neither team won a WS. I was was never in the crowd that wished for a WS Championship before I die. Once again everyone sees things differently. Yes it’s been great to win 4 championships, but it was also great to watch teams of yesteryear especially the homegrown ones that had some great talent on it. The 1975 team knocked off the three time defending champs A’s, and took the Big Red Machine to the last inning of the 7th game without Rice. Both of the Reds, and A’s were the best teams of their time, and that was exciting to me, so once again everyone sees things differently, and that’s why there is, and should be different opinions. Last place should never be accepted no matter how many titles you win.
  4. Talk about over analyzing everything thing. That wasn’t what he was saying at all. Of course you see things that aren’t there, and go off on it.
  5. Not probably unlikely, but it’s far from a sure thing that he’ll be as good as all the hype either, and either way it will be a big risk with all the money that will be involved.
  6. Once again any system that is decided in a room, and not on the field is a flawed system. Two teams are better than none, and 4 teams are better than 2 teams, but still a very flawed system.
  7. Improving the SP, and the D will only make the Red Sox better.
  8. 1 Mich 2. Wash 3. TX 4. Ala Fla St. 13-0 is out.
  9. I think Texas gets #4 over Bama.
  10. Bama should not get in over Texas that beat Bama, because like I keep saying all of this should be decided on the field, and not in a room. If it comes down to Bama, and Texas then Texas beat Bama at Bama at that.
  11. This is what I mean that with Alabama’s win people in a room with decide who gets in with all these 1 loss teams. If either Mich, or Fla St. lose tonight it will be an even bigger cluster f—-. There has to be a better way where EVERYTHING gets decided on the field.
  12. I’m talking about these conference championship games that not everyone is playing like Ohio State. ND would not be playing in one either.
  13. College FB is, and always has been a flawed system where guys sit in a cigar filled room, and decides things. Not having all the teams play the same amount of games is another flaw.
  14. Don’t the zRed Sox have to do something with Mata this year as he’s out of options?
  15. I’ll admit I knew nothing about Rogers.
  16. I’ve been saying Duran has question marks right along. Even though he played better this past year he’s not someone I would pencil in somewhere FT.
  17. I don’t play with BTV, which isn’t shocking at all.
  18. It must not be if BTV says so.
  19. I’ll pass, pass, and pass again.
  20. I don’t think he will come that cheap though.
  21. I don’t think Duran is as highly sought after as some think. He had a better year last year, but I’d want to see him do it again before I made any kind of investment in him.
  22. Monty is just to expensive for to long a time. I keep saying for two years now that Houck, and Whit are cheap options for the rotation, and that is why they are there more than anything else.
  23. I agree with you, but Luis is one of my all time favorites .
  24. When you can’t produce good young pitchers yourself then you have to pay somehow to get them. I wouldn’t trade for someone who only has 1 year of control left, and yes a young pitcher who has years of control left would cost some good prospects, which they only are at this point. I would rather spend the bigger bucks on position players.
