  1. Once again I see pretty much 0% chance the Red Sox would trade for Sonny Gray, or Any Other pitcher with a contract like that just like I pretty much see a 0% chance the Red Sox are in the market for a 3B especially an older one like Arenado with, or without that contract. I won’t even mention that I doubt the Red Sox have Mayer on the market either.🙈🤭
  2. As skeptical as I am of Red Sox management I believe there is 0% chance the Red Sox don’t add to the pitching staff. The Red Sox haven’t announced their plans for Whit either, and it wouldn’t surprise me either way the Red Sox end up going with him.
  3. He might not have the same value now that he’s on the other side, and most likely he would still want more.
  4. I’ll believe Red Sox management when they do what they say, and not what they say, and not until then. The Red Sox met with the Yam Man last year. How many of the big spenders who also met with the Yam Man do you think they were going to out spend. What Red Sox management calls aggressive might not be what the fans call aggressive. Caution, and beware when the Red Sox are there.
  5. I don’t believe the Red Sox would trade for Gausman let alone do an extension.
  6. The Red Sox should be able to pick up a RHH OF, because they have done that for the last 3 years. Replacing Jansen with Hendriks, and Martin with Guerrero, and Penrod seems more than a little risky IMO.
  7. Agent Bell relax. Everyone knows the numbers Duran put out this year, and most likely will still be the Red Sox next year. Going forward though the telltale to me will be if they try to extend him, or not.
  8. I know posters on here throw out all kinds of make believe trades, and player movement to different positions, which is deemed fun, but I haven’t seen anything yet that I think the Red Sox would, or will do.
  9. Good news? The word on the street was Bloom was hard to deal with when he was with Boston, and always wanted to much in trades, and that’s why so few trades were made especially on expiring contracts.
  10. What you would do, and what the Red Sox will most likely do is two entirely different things, and I think not.
  11. Ah Lester. Henry wouldn’t pay him, and then turned around, and paid twice as much for Price.
  12. There doesn’t seem to be many around these days.
  13. Words are meaningless, and actions are what counts the most. Management can say full throttle, and then when they don’t live up to perceived expectations some call out sham, sham, sham, which is blasting management. Not constructive at all, and pretty much pointless. That we agree on.
  14. Then why would you say to call Houston in the first place?🙈🤭
  15. No, but I’m not asking what Brown’s stats are, but what would the stats look like for an ace these days.
  16. What constitutes an Ace these days?
  17. Like I said I was shocked that the Red Sox spent as much as they did on Gio. Anything over $10M is high for the Red Sox to spend, but $20M doesn’t get you what it used to.
  18. The Red Sox brass at the season’s end press conference say a lot that don’t really amounts to much, and then do even less.
  19. Red Sox. If Houston called it would be a short discussion.
  20. Under $20M I wouldn’t call expensive, but I’m still shocked the spent what they did even though he was part of the Sale deal IMO using that $10M. If Gio’s back, and they’ll probably stick Whit back in the rotation again too knowing them.
  21. Boston is NOT going to sign, or trade for any expensive pitcher IMO.
  22. Brown is the real deal worth Casas, and Abreu? BTV tell you that? No phone call made by Brez.
  23. To this day we as fans don’t know the whole Mookie saga, and all we know is he is gone. What did they offer Mookie, and what didn’t they offer Mookie. Did Mookie want to stay, or didn’t he want to stay. Like I’ve always said Raffy got the money, because he was the last man standing. Devers Forever, or Never Devers take your pick.
  24. The Red Sox have been a losing team out of the postseason for the last three years. Let’s just keep everyone, and stay that way. That’s absurd to me. Duran is not going to make, or break the Red Sox if he stays, or not. Package him, and Raffy I don’t care as long as it improves the team. I was attached to Red Sox players when I was a get, but not anymore.
