    You are 100% right about posters on this site having money burning a hole in their pockets in this case Mayer, and Anthony, and won’t calm down, and be happy until they are both up in Boston. I don’t see Story getting benched anytime soon let alone be DFA.

    Like I said earlier just, because KC is working out at 1B doesn’t mean anything is imminent. My question all along to is why the Red Sox hasn’t had a reliable actual 1B in the system not only for now, but the past 3-4 years as well. Flintstone Schwarber, Franchy Strange Glove, Arroyo, and the ones they have tried now shouldn’t have to be the answers. It like throwing things against the wall to see what sticks.The Red Sox used 11 different 2B last year, so the same thing there.

    Might as well KC didn’t have an established position anyway, but working out doesn’t mean a change is imminent either.

    At the moment Casas has little to no trade value, and at the moment the Red Sox has NO long term solution at 1B, so there are more than one scenario out there on what happens with Casas.

    I think Cora was just throwing things against the wall, and wanted to see if Campbell could stick after watching Casas, Story, and Abreu not being able to batting 4th.

    Already paying Masa $18M to be in exile, so what’s another $22M to exile Story. Roster construction at its finest. Chaim Bloom the gift that keeps on giving.

    I think they were counting to much on Hendriks, and were really expecting him to be the closer. Whit has been the big disappointment so far.

    I don’t see someone like Mayer, or Anthony being traded unless a young SP like Crochet is coming back.

    Remember that Brez was only the 12th pick in the 2024 HOBO draft, because so many potential candidates turned down an interview for the job to begin with, and that was after Sam said that Boston would be where everyone would want to go to.

    I agree, but I was just pointing out what he had done in May. Seems like it coincided when Cora decided to bat him cleanup.

    Cora is anti-rocking the boat. It looks like Cora is caving to Devers. Devers is a diva. Devers is insubordinate. You just keep rambling on, and on. If Cora thought Devers would be a good fit at 1B, which I don’t believe he does then you would have something to go on, but I don’t believe Cora sees Raffy as a good fit at 1B, and that’s why unless something has changed from the other day he hasn’t talked to Raffy about moving to 1B, and said he isn’t going to. If that is the case Cora isn’t caving to Devers, and Devers certainly isn’t insubordinate. I’ll say it again that Cora knows Raffy better than anyone, and what may seem obvious to anyone else might not be what’s right at all, and that’s what might be obvious to Cora.🤭🙈🤭.

    I think Cora relented moving Raffy to DH, but wasn’t going to do it again, and move Raffy to 1B. I also don’t think Cora sees Raffy as a good fit there.

    I agree, and when JH flew to KC is wasn’t just to deal with Raffy, but Cora, and Brez as well.

My thinking is, and has been all along is that Cora just doesn’t see Raffy as a good fit at 1B unlike all of you who just take it for granted that he would. No matter how many times you call Raffy names, and question Cora on this it doesn’t get Raffy any closer to playing 1B. Cora knows Raffy better than anyone, and if he thought Raffy would be a good fit over there he would have had a talk about it with Raffy already. He hasn’t, and said he wasn’t going to.

    I think Brez is studying the old Bloom playbook, and looking for that 3rd option in the fork in the road on what to do with this whole roster construction thing.
