If Holt was in and got plunked for your perceived "showing up the Yankees" then that would mean a baserunner. Kinsler and Nunez back to back better pay off. If this series goes back to Boston because 6 & 7 goe 0-9 or 10, then Cora blew it in the event of a close game. I imagine if you had achieved the first cycle ever in the history of Little League, you would have just kept your head down and trotted smartly around the bases. Swihart still very vulnerable on the breaking ball down low. Doesn't affect the game, but he doesn't show a lot of pitch recognition for a catcher. Neither does Leon.

In a 108+1 win season, I know I didn't see a more dominant performance from any pitcher in a critical game. Eovaldi has been anything but consistent since late July, but he delivered the goods tonight. Not missing seeing Kelly, Barnes, Workman, Poyner, Hembree, Brasier or Kimbrel so far.

It might be too obvious, but this offense is totally different and a run scoring beast when the lower end (6-9) of the order set the table for the top of the order. Said it during the season, and it shows up tonight. Just stay out of the 1-16 AB's in 6-9 and they score lots of runs.

If Vazquez is calling the pitches, not the bench (Cora or LaVangie), i would replace him right now. Stanton cannot handle the low outside breaking pitch and Vaz calls a high FB, standing up as he does and Stanton could have lost that ball. Vaz is not great if he's calling that stuff
