  1. Theee Yankeees win!!!!!!! 6 - 1 Road trip Great performance
  2. he will be out 2 months (at least)
  3. hahahah good one
  4. I saw an article with some good things to say about Frazier, I hope he comes back soon. He needs to be ready for the next Hicks injury, I know I'm being pessimistic, but unles Hicks starts showing some durability he will be injury prone in my book
  5. Torres got his first hit, I hope he relaxes and starts showing his talent
  6. I'm a little concerned about this, chances are he might be exposed if he keeps swinging like that. The reason those hitters are so rare is because the pitchers can attack them with pitches which are out of the zone and they normally will chase them, basically they make for themselves a bigger "strike zone"
  7. It reminds me the comparison we had back in the days with Pedroia/Cano, both fine major league players. Let's see how this competition turns out
  8. Yep terible contract but it's becoming one of the worst contracts in yankee history (we have quite a few)
  9. Stupidity is the only explanation I guess Cashman wanted a "yes man" on the job, now is coming back and biting us in the rear end. I understand he wanted a new face in command with all the young guys, but why Boone? he didn't have any previous coaching experience. If not Girardi, why not pick Pedrique (former Scranton manager)?
  10. I heard Ellsbury has another injury: "Plantar fasciitis" The new "american idle", at this pace he will beat Pavano with his DL trips
  11. Wrong I created the thread to track the hospital like environment in the yankee clubhouse at the beggining of the season
  12. Some more Houdini from Robertson, we were used to it
  13. "On this date last year Stanton was batting .226 with 3 HR and a .715 OPS. He wound up winning the NL MVP" Alex Putterman @alexputterman
  14. Finally some good news on the injury front: https://www.northjersey.com/story/sports/mlb/yankees/2018/04/17/new-york-ny-yankees-greg-bird-begins-swinging-bat-prospect-gleyber-torres-back-day-day/526281002/ Bird might come back soon
  15. Time to perform, but the team has to play better, there's a lot of talent in the ML right now, not all the time we''ll hit a Judge or Sanches which were productive very soon, some growing pains are expected with some of the guys
  16. Still early my friend, I'm not worried at the team in the field. Boone is the one who's really showing his rookie colors, too many mistakes
  17. I agree with you, Stanton has been in the league for 7 seasons, he will be ok. He should be moved a little in the order, but not all the way to 7th in the order, maybe move up Didi and Gary then Stanton in the 5th hole
  18. well, he needs to stay in the minors thru Wed to get that extra year, so the earlier he can be in the Bronx is next Tuesday
  19. He was removed from the lineup yesterday with some apparent "stiffness", Hopefully is nothing serious
  20. My bad, Gray is on the mound today
  21. Nothing wrong with moving the batter off the plate, but if they hit him, we'll have another fight tonight
  22. Some more plunking tonight, CC always has a way on this, my guess is Devers or Hanley
  23. 80 games suspension announced today
  24. Here comes the Judge Great
  25. Probably, but this was a great audition opportunity for Frazier, I know he will get more but this was wasted
