  1. The way I see it so far, Drury will give Torres more time in the minors, Andujar looks like a more finished product right now, let's wait a couple weeks just to be sure
  2. I see Drury putting some good numbers as well
  3. It will be a tough decision for Cashman/Boone. From the business perspective they should send him down at least for the 16 days required to get an extra year of control From the BB perspective he's ready to take over 3B
  4. Andujar just hit another HR, he's on fire
  5. Andujar just hit his 3rd HR in as many games, he wants the job!!!!!!!!
  6. I saw a video yesterday with some fielding practice and he looks sharp, I know is only practice but he has the right approach. I expect him to be in the Bronx by May at the latest
  7. If all of them stay healthy Rotation Sox > Yanks Lineup Yanks > Sox
  8. I think the player out will be Wade at the beginning and eventually Torreyes will be gone, only if Drury is as good as advertised. I see a combination at the start of the season between Drury(75%)/Torreyes(25%) for 3B and Wade(75%)/Torreyes(25%) with Andujar and Torres down in AAA When they call up Andujar the combinations will be Andujar(75%)/Drury(25%) for 3B and Drury(75%)/Torreyes(25%) for 2B sending Wade to AAA When Torres is up the combinations Andujar(80%)/Drury(20%) for 3B and Torres(80%)/Drury(20%) for 2B, Drury will be the primary utility guy, for me this is the ideal setup for our IF (don't know if Drury can play SS to handle the occasional day off for Didi)
  9. I like it, the only two changes I'd like to do is Toe at 2B and Drury at 3B
  10. He's the only closer in BB without that injury question mark, but let's see how he performs after he starts losing his FB, it's the only guy who one day may be challenging the sandman for the all-time saves record. Still a long way to go but if he stays healthy he can get there (BIG IF)
  11. If nobody steps up to the closer roll during this season you might be in a tight spot next winter, Kimbrel is one of the best in the league and your BP will suffer with almost any other player.
  12. I'm assuming Kimbrel will be resigned and his contract next year will be at least at the same AAV of Chapman, unless his production suffers big time during 2018 (I don't see it happening), it will be a very interesting decision for you guys, because he will try to get at least 5 yrs. Pomeranz will be more expensive too, if he has a similar year in 2018, AAV close to 20 Millions. In top all of that you young players will get more expensive like Betts, JBJ, Bogaerts, and otherts, a tough decision might be coming next winter with Kimbrel and some other guys
  13. I'd like to see the projection for next year, which contracts besides Hanley you will unload after the 2018 season? Also is Rusney Castillo and Sandoval counted against this number?
  14. We just have to trust Cashman and his recent track record.
  15. Price and his big mouth, I don't think Ortiz ever got booed in Boston, I might be wrong, maybe when he was dealing with the wrist issue.
  16. By the way, the more we talk, the victims are the ones more affected.
  17. As a Yankee fan I said so, but I was biased. Still, witnessing some domestic abuse myself (thank god not in my family), it was a topic which should be sorted out of this type of forums, let's focus on BB related discussions.
  18. Out of respect for possible victims, I have to agree with you, let's stay out of this topic. plenty of other things to bash each other without touching this subject
  19. Something else should be coming, they need to clear a roster spot for him
  20. I don't know what to think about this, they are obviously dealing from the depth they have. I don't like to lose Widener but I have to trust Cashman and his scouting department, the last time I felt this puzzled was with the Didi trade and it was a huge win for us
  21. Still the Guardians asking prices was big (based on media speculation).
  22. It's a shame, he's part of the IF depth for the beginning of the year. Don't know how this will affect the Torres/Andujar original plan and their service time. For me those two guys need to start the season in AAA, Torres needs to get his timing back and Andujar just needs to work a little more on his defense.
  23. I just love him, no way we decline his option next year, Cashman loves this guy, his production needs to fall off a cliff for that to happen. And he's a great clubhouse presence, that alone makes him worth the roster spot.
  24. Not sure that package will get you guys Salazar, but with a couple more small pieces you might have the Guardians attention
  25. It was a good deal for the Sox, DD played that negotiation just in the edge, everybody is happy because he won, but, what if.....
