  1. I understand it has an opt-out after 2 yrs, somebody know the details?
  2. End of discussion But... I still love him in my team
  3. He's very professional, very quiet, takes care of business and never complains
  4. That was a sweet deal, too bad it was not completed. I'd hate to lose Andujar, but Machado is a special talent.
  5. He's been very consistent, I still expect a bWAR for him north of 2.5 for the next couple years and an OPS over .700 that is very good for a 1st bat. I'm under no illusion, he will take a major hit in production in the next few years, most of his value is based on his legs and that is the first thing you lose as you get older, still I'm very confident for the next 2 years; unless he gets injured he is one of the safest bets in the lineup.
  6. I'd keep Gardner for me he's more valuable than most people realize, a very nice career for him without the drama and the publicity of several other guys in the league.
  7. Bogaerts is with Boras, so it means an extension is a very long shot. Betts in the other hand is achievable but the longer it takes will be more expensive
  8. I have a problem with this, we all criticize those "money hungry" players and now we treat as an idiot the only guy who had the balls to walk away from a payday that most of us won't see in a lifetime
  9. I'm in..... if you take that albatross called Ellsbury and his contract hahaha
  10. You haven't lost your sense of humor
  11. I usually use bWAR, still the last few seasons have a big gap in performance
  12. Agree But Ellsbury has only 4 seasons over 3WAR, Gardner has 7. Including the last 5
  13. No way, too light offer. Even with all the PED baggage.
  14. I didn't want him at all, is basically am "injury prone" version of Gardner, if you remove his 2011 season his numbers are not even good.
  15. looks like a good deal for Boston, which players would you send to Milwaukee?
  16. Not to me Ellsbury deal is even worst, in that deal the last 4 years
  17. What was the projection for him?
  18. What is going on with the Brewers??? They got Cain for 5/80 Some trade for one of their OF should be in the works.
  19. It looks like the Marlins finally nailed a good haul for one on their top players Brinson is the 7 OF prospect Diaz is the 4th 2B and everybody is talking about Monte Harrison Good return for Yelich
  20. Prospects in the way to Miami Lewis Brinson Isan Diaz Monte Harrison Jordan Yamamoto
  21. There's no other player I can think right now, which will make me trade one of those three. If Trout is available, this will be the order in my mind to start trade conversations: 1st Severino, he's great, but there are more pitchers in his level on the league 2nd Judge, it's almost impossible for him to duplicate his rookie season, he might have the shorter career (unless he's moved to DH in a few years) 3rd Sanchez, he plays a premium position, no matter what some people say I believe he will be a plus defender very soon.
  22. Word is that Epstein gave Cashman the oportunity to choose between Torres and Jimenez.
  23. Probably, but His price will never be low, everybody knows his upside, the problem is the health and that question mark will be there no matter what
  24. I'm not, somehow we have not been top players with the Cuban prospects, it might change this year
  25. Not right now, but I saw a few reports which said he might be available in the right deal, those guys are the only ones which can afford to deal a SP and stay in contention, plus they need to strike while he's healthy
