It looks like Stanton is getting in one of his hot streaks, where he hits a bunch of HRs in a short period of time, he use to have them with the Marlins, this would be the first with the Yanks

If that's the case I will be dancing around my living room without any remorse, a win is a win. I love the sport and like to see the best players playing the game instead of watching those guys in the sidelines with an injury

Not really, what he gave to the A's was not that much, Mateo is fading away, Kap haven't pitch in a game since the trade and Fowler is the only one who can be a regular ML (for now). I hate the results of the trade but it was hard to not like the trade when it happened.

Same here Kimmi, I won't be grieving if we beat you with your best players on the DL. Let's hope it's not the case and we beat you with the best lineups available

Based on previous year experience is a great plan to take advantage of your position in the standings and rest your ace at this point, this way you assure you have the best version of him towards the end of the regular season and the playoffs. Let's hope this is just a "phantom injury" and not something serious caused by "overthrowing" in the allstar game.

I'm just returning the good vibes from true Sox fans when they learned Judge was injured, like them I like the game and don't want to see any player injured. Don't get me wrong, I hate to see this guy kicking the crap out of my yanks but I respect him big time, a great professional and one of the elite pitching talents in the league for a few years now

It sucks, I just hopes he can come back at full strength before the end of the year, wrist injuries are tricky I remember Ortiz a few years back a lot of us thought he was done, it took him a while to come back from that injury

I just read that the asking price for deGrom is that high that the Muts have no proposals for him. Machado to the yankees will only happen if we deal Andujar or Didi, I don't see a fit right now. Amazing talent but I think Cashman will get involved to drive his price up a lot

The difference is that the cubs were desperate to land a closer, they had a big hole before the trade; the yanks have Andujar, even if he's not as good as Machado, he's far from a liability

I agree, Machado should be far cheaper than most people realize, he's a 3 months rental and very expensive. Still thing it won't happen unles the Yanks have deal ready including Andujar

I don't think they included Frazier in the offer, maybe if Britton is included, but not only for Machado.

I have a feeling that Cashman might be inclined to move Didi instead of Andujar, hope not but it's one of them for sure if he lands Machado. Or he's simply covering third base to deal Andujar away for a top of the rotation guy. Now that you mentioned the Angelos family, looks a lot like the Steinbrenner, as soon as The Boss moved away the sons treated the team more as a business, not a lot of "visceral" moves after he left, hope the same happens with the O's

I know, for me is still a long shot. But it would be a good move by the O's, they have a crappy farm and this is a nice way to start a rebuild, the rumor is that Cashman is going after Britton as insurance in the case Chapman goes down.

If this is true, it means that Andujar might be part of another deal for a SP, if Andujar is included in any deal it means that it's somebody really good
