  1. following the game in the computer How's he doing?
  2. Padres with 10 prospect in the top 100, never seen a team with so many prospects in the list
  3. you will be 2 out of 3, Theo won't let Maddon go
  4. it was not a good year for the Yanks in the minors, still like the depth we have there. I'm happy to see Loaisiga in the top 100, the sleeper prospect for next year is Luis Medina
  5. Those three are good options, do you think they will be able to take us over the top and compete with the Astros rotation?
  6. I agree, but who in the FA market is that "game changer"? I don't see any
  7. If that was the line of thought Boone is a bigger moron than I realized, can't plan for something that may not happen For tonight it should be all hands on deck, there's no "tomorrow" if we lose tonight
  8. he will be hired by FOX
  9. Same for the Guardians
  10. Yankees have advantage in the head to head series, if they end up with the same record, the WC is in the Bornx
  11. well, he's almost the only player worth to watch in that lineup Maybe after they let Scioscia go this offseason would be a different approach with the team, he's a huge waste of talent there
  12. he has enough pitches to be effective, the point is that it's a big coincidence to have this drop in velocity coming out of "shoulder issue", I'm sure he can be effective even with a drop in velocity, but something is going up or, probably he was just holding back and not putting a lot of effort in his pitches.
  13. It's updated now, the difference it's HUGE!!
  14. Exactly, either of them would be an excellent choice, in my opinion Trout is the man, but have no problem with anybody picking Betts over him. If somebody picks somebody else in the AL, it's pure bias against them, even with the seasons they are having no way they are on this level, at least not this year.
  15. I might be wrong, but I don't see Sale last game, the chart only has 26 games and he has started 27
  16. Which WAR should we use? baseball reference or fangraphs? we all know they both have different calculations as of today Betts is leading in both sites: Baseball Reference Betts 10.8 Trout 10.1 Fangraphs Betts 10.1 Trout 9.7 If Trout has some very good games over the weekend he might pass Betts in fangraphs (BR is a big diference to overcome in 3-4 games) I'm curious, would you still be in favor of using WAR to decide the MVP?
  17. You raised a good point, for me JD is the MVP, he's the only important difference in their lineup (compared with 2017) and is being an amazing figure to push the rest of the guys to raise their game, I know Betts have better numbers, but in my opinion JD is more valuable for the SOX, still it depends on what you like
  18. Still think Tanaka is the best choice for the WC game, I'm more worried about some inconsistencies in the BP
  19. Surprising to see those numbers, so it means they are prohibitive favorites in my book, if SP and RP are the best in the league then they have a better chance to repeat in the WS
  20. I agree with you Moon, but in the postseason pitching is the key. the batting, while is not as powerful as NYY or BOS is far from a liability. The real weakness I see is the BP, even with Osuna in the fold is not in the level of some other teams
  21. I'm surprised for the lack of mention of Trout, he's the leader in OBP, OPS and OPS+. What a waste of talent in that crappy team, the guy will have what could be his best season.
  22. Now the logic move will be Torres to SS Walker to 2B and Torreyes as the utility guy
  23. I completely agree with you in Andujar, but I doubt any team would give that type of pitcher with only prospects, our farm has depth but lack a "sexy prospect" which can be the centerpiece of the deal, for example Torres last year or the Moncada from the Sox when they got Sale. If it's only prospects it take all the depth Cashman built over the years. Imagine Bumgarner, he still has a 12M option for 2019, with an extension of something like 5/130 the AAV would be like 23M, without the extension I'd refuse to give a major piece for him. A similar scenario for deGrom and some others
