JBJ is not a great hitter, but he's certainly better than the .156 BA. His xBA, based on exit velocity and launch angle, is .226. Again, not great, but good enough to hide in the #9 spot if the rest of the offense is performing. JBJ's bat is not the problem. It's the other 8 guys in the line up that are the problem.
