I am sure Anthony is the real deal. He'll go through his growing pains, as Campbell is doing now, but he seems like he's going to be a great player.
I'm just saying that I don't think he's the instant solution to this team's woes that some people think he is. Maybe he'll provide a spark, maybe he won't. I understand that Mayer was called up under slightly different circumstances, and replacing Bregman's production is a tall order, but Mayer has created zero spark so far.
