Yes, but they absorb all those hits, and they make the playoffs virtually ever year. They haven't had a season under .500 since 1992.

I don't know. Do you think signing Correa for one year at $35 or $37.5 million would be a good deal for us? It wouldn't leave much under the tax line, so there's the first problem with it.

It's a fair question. But I can't overlook the fact that while Chaim Bloom is obviously a smart guy with good things on his resume, he's never actually run a team before this, and, well, we literally don't know yet if he knows what he's doing.
