Well now we've got some pretty divergent opinions on whose fault the injury was.
I just watched the replay a few times.
One thing I notice is that Swihart was about 3/4 of the way between first and second by the team he releases the ball, making it a tough play for everyone.
The throw was definitely behind E-Rod, causing him to turn and slow down.
The third is that the Jays runner slides through the base and to the right and is laid out there with his legs sticking up behind him, forcing E-Rod to make a pretty long jump to clear him. He almost made it but not quite.
