  1. Cashman was handed Joe Torre. He should have fired his ass on day one!
  2. Bloom failed 3 out of 4 years. Henry failed 4 out of 5. More than enough blame to go around.
  3. DD came aboard and kept Farrell for a few years.
  4. They also mentioned Yorke as he changed his swing last offseason and then reverted back to an older swing during the season. He needs to find a swing and stick with it. Very weird for a guy with the great "bat to ball skills" that we were told about. His defense is good enough to be passable at 2B, but his bat is further behind than most of us expected.
  5. That payroll that "plummeted" was higher than 2020 and 2021.
  6. You should go find the manager.
  7. If there were not player development ramifications in going over the CBT, Henry would be over every year IMO.
  8. He's the Real Deal! ...even if you can't spell his name right.
  9. Protect Song? No chance.
  10. The Dollop has a great two part podcast about Martin.
  11. Another very good point by you.
  12. I believe the loudest portion of the turmoil happened after the WS.
  13. And yet my off track comment was even more pertinent than you complaining about lesser individuals not being as sociable as you would like them in your day to day life as you had already mentioned your opinionated and outspoken nature previously.
  14. "Family Reasons" didn't stop Air Bud from winning the Women's World Cup. He had quintuplets at home to worry about! Maybe we need a real go getter like that. Somebody that can fetch a good player. There's no rule that says a dog can't be CBO!
  15. This is a discussion of Craig Breslow, Chaim Bloom and people with high IQ's, not the general rabble. A post was made about Breslow being known as the smartest player in MLB. Bloom was known for not having the greatest communications skills in the world. There could be concerns that Breslow also can't work well with others since he is a remote employee at the moment. I'm sure an opinionated and outspoken person like you would rather yell about the cashiers at Buc-ee's, but I think we should keep the conversation on track.
  16. A lot of brilliant people have zero people skills. Being able to work with others is important for the vast majority of jobs.
  17. Hmm, seems like you don't know what "with cause" means!
  18. I think my seventh grade son hacked into your account for this dad joke.
  19. Their bullpen is a little shaky, but their starters were 14th overall in fWAR largely due to Gallen and Kelly. If those two can't get it done, it's over for the DBags.
  20. Bloom was fired for cause too.
  21. I agree. Bloom definitely has a much higher IQ than DD though, right?
  22. Jealous much?
  23. I've toured the campus, but am far from being a Yalie.
  24. @tylermilliken_ Some interesting insight from @Sean_McAdam on yesterday’s Craig Breslow reports: “A report in The Athletic Tuesday had Breslow “in advanced discussions” with the Sox, “interviewing for their No. 1 job in baseball operations,” but that may be premature, according to an industry source.” He floats the idea of Breslow possibly being GM, with a more experienced option taking over the POBO role. Also, that another external candidate has been interviewed that has not been revealed yet. Breslow as GM, someone else as CBO and Eddie stays as Assistant GM? Why not just give Eddie the promotion and find the CBO? I don't get it.
