    Giolito did get CY votes in 19, 20, 21. His season prior to the ASB: 112 Innings, 3.45 ERA, 4.29 xFIP. Expecting Sale to do anything but get hurt is a lot at this point in time.

    His defense sucked at SS in his short stint last year, but he it was already known that he needed to be moved to 2b and his range will be better there. He’ll be better defensively than Valdez was. Big time prospect who was blocked by Albies.

    Rotation is a little better. 2b is a little better. OF is worse. Agreed about same on paper. Add another starter and Teoscar and it’s a better team.

    Gio has the higher ceiling. Wacha will undoubtedly see IL time. Wacha just had that nice early season stretch that some people popped boners over.

    Miami has a rough farm system right now and needs a little of everything. Wonder if they’d rather a grab bag of 5 guys with good ceilings and an MLB starter (Wikelman, Perales, Yorke, Bleis and Crawford).
