  1. Santana looks a lot better right now...
  2. Jesus- i read this post and am thinking "this is really nice" and then I get to the last line and spit out my food. I get nostalgic when I think of the old BH days. Honestly that was such a great place to post. I've never read so many funny things, and I personally haven't been as funny in writing since. The last time I talked to Brad was the sox yank game i took my dad to- Schill and Clem, the same day as the week 2 chargers pats game. I called him to come get a beer with me but his dad got him a ticket to the Chargers shellacking. When are you taking me to Jamaica again? I tried to convince Chris but he doesn't tan as well as we do so it was a tough sell. And for the record... Brad and I wanted to gangbang Red Hat but she was about 9 months into an attempt to re-grow her hymen so we had to settle for rimjobs while we jerked each other off in the mirror. You sick fukk.
  3. I got my dad tickets for that game (he's seen a couple already this year) and before he left he sounded disappointed that KG wasn't playing. He got to see a well played game. How about Powe?!? WTF?
  4. Thanks bud! his performance relative to his contract gives us more than a lifetime of material fro ripping on him anyway, right? IMO, I'm not sure why sox fans hate him so much- it isn't his fault that sox management was stupid enough to pay him that much...
  5. I dont think its really fair to relate a hyperbaric oxygen chamber to Michael Jackson. Many, many professional athletes use this treatment. As far as the cell hpones and computers go, we all know they cause health problems, and if I was worth as much as he is thanks to ripping teams off I would want to live a long healthy life too!
  6. Bellhorn's plate approach was to take a lot of pitches. Both of them draw the count out. Bellhorn would often swing at strike 3 while Drew would look at it, but their overall plate philosophy is very much the same.
  7. .280, 15 home runs, 85 rbis, lot of walks, lots of boston fans angry with his batting approach. He has the same approach Bellhorn had at the plate, which drove the locals batty.
  8. right but what do we deal him for? Other than a catcher, is there something more useful to the Sox than a speedy guy who is an average hitter and plays great defense in the OF?
  9. Stupid, stupid move. They would have gotten a 1st and a sandwich for him at the end of the year and they traded him for THESE guys?
  10. Any guesses? Will Crisp be traded and if so what for? Does this mean Kielty is gone? What about Lowrie since he is blocked at the ML level? What other questions am I forgetting, and has anyone heard anything about these questions and more?
  11. I need to go to Yankee Stadium this year. I've never been so I need to work it in, even if its not for a sox game.
  12. 2 words for you Seano: Derek Jeter.
  13. I'll have to find a bar here thats serving at game time. Its opening day. I'm not f***ing around.
  14. There arent really any bad seats there.
  15. We need a few Hoffas
  16. "Dougie's goin' deep tonight"
  17. Va Tech was very overrated. Look at their schedule and point to big wins. Please don't tell me BC because they are another team who beat nobody. Ohio State falls into the same group, with a little more quality on their schedule. They might as well have named the SEC the American League and lumped every other division together and called it the NL. This system is such a f***ing joke.
  18. LOL so true. he definitely used the sick kid too. I feel so bad for that kid being brought into the middle of this while he's sick.
  19. Thats exactly what the tape sounded like. And I agree, he did pretty well in the press conference.
  20. He Hate me- he was very careful- like I said- he never said to McNamee- STOP LYING. He said "I just want the truth out there" He never said STOP LYING, and Im pretty positive he didn't say "TELL THE TRUTH" when McNamee asked what he wanted. Further, Clemens said he never provided his own injections if i heard correctly? If so, why wasn't he disputing this stuff from the get go- why wasnt he saying- i never provided Brian with ANYTHING? Why has he waited so long? Its because he needed to figure out every step very carefully for legal reasons. Its much easier to step when you are innocent. You can say whatever whenever because its the truth so you are never in danger of perjury, witness tampering, or just flat out lying.
  21. If I was innocent and didnt do anything I wouldnt be nervous I would have torn him a new one. I would have said- WHY DID YOU f***ING LIE ABOUT ME? TELL THE TRUTH. Its pretty basic. McNamee feels bad and nervous because he dropped a dime on his good friend. Clemens was nervous because he had to dance around the truth, I just hope McNamee stands by his word and doesn't pull a Pentangeli in court.
  22. you want me to go to jail?- to me that says- you want me to lie for you and go to jail? clemens was very careful in what he said there.
  23. Keep telling yourself that "Read my lips. No Ne..." "I did not have sexual relations with that wo..."
  24. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=3185000 ACC Commissioner John Swofford and SEC Commissioner Mike Slive said Monday morning at an annual meeting of the Football Writers Association of America that they believe a "plus-one" format would have to be seeded. The other possibility of the "plus-one" was considered to be playing an extra game after the BCS title game. Each commissioner also stated that the SEC, ACC, Big East and Big 12 are open to discussing the "plus-one" format. The Big Ten and Pac-10 have been opposed to it. Swofford, who is the incoming BCS chair, said the nature of the 2007 season and its weekly upheaval has motivated his presidents and athletic directors to reconsider a plus-one model. "A lot of people look at it and say ... maybe it would be better if more than two teams had the opportunity to play for the national championship," Swofford said. "There's a comfort level with what we're doing today," Swofford added. "In our conference, there's much more open-mindedness about the plus-one than there was two years ago. There's an interest in it ... and a willingness to discuss it in full." Slive, the outgoing BCS chair, said one focal point of discussion will be discerning whether the 2007 season and its parity is an anomaly or "the beginning of something bigger." "It's a little bit like turning a big battleship," Swofford said. Further discussion will take place at meetings of the commissioners in Miami in April. Swofford acknowledged a meeting of No. 1 vs. No. 4 and No. 2 vs. No. 3 in a Final Four of football could still leave out a team with a participation argument. Slive acknowledged "logistics" and multiple television agreements will take efforts to work through for the possible format to become a reality. Two years remain in the current BCS contract with Fox Sports. No changes are expected before the 2010 season Anybody shocked that the two dissenting voices are the Big 10 and Pac 10? After all, who comes into bowl season more overrated every year? Who plays the easier schedule every year? Who gets an almost automatic bid to the Rose bowl every year? I hope OSU gets BURIED tonight....
