  1. I forgot until earlier today that it is also Maine day, so here we go for Maine day on talksox.com game thread as well: http://www.duke.edu/~jbv/HTML%20web%20page_files/maine/gfx/exhibit_maine_005.jpg http://www.avisstudio.com/art/catagory/travel/travel-maine-coast.jpg http://www.holidaysgo.com/img/usa/maine.jpg
  2. Just heard Trup say on WEEI that it's Damon's hamstring, but I don't know the extent of the injury.
  3. Yeah, I muted my television when Remdawg & D.O. started talking about the injury, so I missed it as well.
  4. YAY! I PM'd you back also yeszir, thanks for giving me the opportunity to win this and sorry to all those who didn't win.
  5. southern oklahoma cowgirls suck. GO TEXANS!
  6. It kind of looks cool. I guess you could also call it, "different"
  7. A lot of White Sox fans have been talking crap on my website so I left a little step for them: Insert foot in mouth... remove when close to winning a world series.
  8. You know what? Our game threads kick ass. I look at this, I get the roster, the pitcher v. batter results, who's starting and what they look like, a scouting report, along with the time, channel & anything else I need. All while listening to the WEEI pre-game information & interviews.
  9. McNabb was on earlier... and damnit I missed it. I was too busy writing a recap of the 'Kenny Rogers' beatdown by the Sox and completely forgot.
  10. Just wanted to tell everyone that Bruins center Joe Thornton who signed a three-year contract yesterday will be on ESPNEWS at 3 ET I'd assume talking about his new deal and what he expects of this years team. Just wanted to make sure all Bruins fans out their knew this in case they wanted to watch.
  11. Welcome back. That avatar may get confusing though, since I think a couple people already use it.
  12. Haha, bitches... I'll be going to the opening series!
  13. Gig'em Aggies! I have a good feeling about this year... possibly a trip to the Big XII Championship. With Oklahoma not being as strong, and texas losing some key players, all the power to the Fightin' Texas Aggies! WHOOP!
  14. Yeah, I also didn't have any idea we had a game thread going. I watched pretty much the whole thing -- and thanks to Rivera & Williams, my day was close to fantastic. Thanks a lot Yankee old timers. Including Jeter striking out in the ninth, Posada looking bad & Williams running slowly to a ball and allowing the triple.
  15. They live in Houston, but they have a vacationing spot up in Maine. I don't see what the problem is, the pitch was better than Kerry's was.
  16. What an amazing history for the Rangers. http://espn.starwave.com/media/mlb/2004/0914/photo/a_francisco_frt.jpg http://www.thesmokinggun.com/graphics/art3/0718053inside1.jpg
  17. Welcome, but Renteria will be fine. Hope you enjoy the stay here.
  18. Beating the Rangers is like taking candy from a baby. This is about as easy as it gets... yeah Phil Nevin for Chan Ho is turning out great, huh?
  19. Alright Sox fans, let's rally together and give Rogers a 'warm' New England welcome!
  20. The headline on one of the New York papers after A-Rod hit the 2-R HR off of Schilling called him a "TRUE YANKEE" ... well, this another reason why I agree. Typical Yankee.
  21. Welcome.
  22. I'll give it a shot: AFC East: Pats J-E-T-S, suck suck suck! Bills Dolphins North: Steelers Ravens Bengals Browns South: Colts Texans Titans Jaguars West: Chargers Raiders Chiefs Broncos NFC East: Eagles Redskins cowgirls Giants North: Vikings Packers Bears Lions South: Falcons Buccaneers Panthers Saints West: Seahawks Rams Cardinals 49ers Wildcard teams: (AFC) Texans, jets (NFC) Packers, Buccaneers
  23. The first thing I hear when I turn up the volume on the television for a second: "You know it's getting late when Manny Ramirez is wearing his pajamas... wait that's his uniform. It's got to be one of the most baggiest uniforms in the game." --Josh Lewin, Rangers broadcasting announcer
  24. What? Red Sox management makes a good move? Looks like joe won't be around here for a while to criticize ANYTHING. Great baserunning, we realize just how good these pickups are.... it's good to have Theo as our guide towards the World Series.
