    Are you going to take credit for two nights ago, Francisco Rodriguez walking four batters as well? That's not Yankee talent, that's horrible pitching. Then in 1.1 IP, Kevin Gregg gave up two walks today. Much less, the Angels had today's game right in their hands literally -- that ground ball in the 10th I believe right to Orlando Cabrera and he couldn't handle it. That should have been a loss for the Yankees a blown save for Rivera. The Angels beat themselves, you didn't beat them. That was not a struggling Twins club -- that's what happens when you run into some great Red Sox pitching prospects and a fantastic offense.

    I am really surprised that Embree has not been doing well in New York. I mean, if you are Alan you realize that you pitched horrible in Boston and another team with so much history picks you up and I just thought that would fire him up and he'd step up his game. You are getting pretty much a clean slate in a new location and you start off bad -- that's got to be tough.

    I know there is a magazine called "DIEHARD" for Red Sox fans and you can usually find one of those at any place that sells magazines (I can pick one up here in Texas at Hastings), but I don't know if that's the official Red Sox magazine or not.

    Yankees still suck. What a fantastic game that was today... definitely the either best or second best game of the year. That game in Tampa when Johnny made that phenominal catch then lead off with the HR was great, but this game may have been better.

    Nope, a Fightin' Texas Aggie. I've grown up hating the longhorns all my life -- actually went to the Texas A&M v. texas game in Austin last year, and despite the 26-13 loss it wasn't ass bad compared to the prior two games that I had gone to in Austin (1996: 54-14, texas. 2002: 50-20, texas). I really think that the longhorns have some of the most classless fans. I've been taunted, spit on, yelled at.... it's just a tough rivalry to lose five years in a row. And it stops this year when texas comes to College Station.

    Yep, saw that too on SportsCenter, Youk.... but ESPN pisses me off and I couldn't even focus on what they were saying. They saw PAWtucket every damn instance... do they not know that it's pronounced like P'tucket? C'mon ESPN, you're in Connecticut for crying out loud, you're not across the country.

    Is that really right? I thought Jay Payton was just ripping it up in Oakland, but over the last 7 days he's only hitting .167 with a .192 OBP. Wow.

    FOX radio sucks. On WEEI after midnight they go to FOX Sports Radio and the guy who does the broadcasting is a Yankees fan and is a moron. Don't trust FOX Sports.

    You know, a-fraud_sucks13: If anyone knows how Embree is pitching each game, it is me. I keep up with all the pitching stats throughout the year and record them on a website of mine. Embree was not pitching good enough to stay in Boston.... maybe that 7.74 ERA is right below par compared to the Yankee pitching staff, but it's not good enough to stay in Boston.     My old man just informed me that he was watching ESPNEWS and reportedly the Mets and Red Sox have now worked out a deal and it is close to being done. No D-Rays involved, and I'm pretty sure Boston would also send $15M in addition to the Mets for some reason. He heard it, not me, but ESPN is a valuable source.

    I am really unhappy about my privacy on this website. I post here daily, giving it my all and average about 5 posts per day, I make everyone laugh but I just can't browse through talksox and not get mobbed by fans of mine. So what, sometimes I don't hussle through the game thread? I still get the job done. Yeszir may pay me tons to post here but I'm just not happy anymore and for Christ sakes if I want a day off from the Chicago White Sox game thread, maybe you should give me the day off! Now, I don't feel welcome here and I would like to be traded to another message board.
