Sox fan in Tex's Achievements

  1. Agree with ya there, das. I am done with my scorecard. I don't want to remember this one.
  2. Will someone fill me in on the backstory about what Orsillo and Remy were saying about the Lowell Spinners becoming the Mike Lowell Spinners for a day? I guess if they've done it the last couple years, I am really out of the loop.
  3. There we go, Beckett. C'mon Sox. Put this s#%t to an end!
  4. This thread is ridiculous. As PATHETIC as we have played, we are still only two games back of the Rays and we lead the Twins in the Wild Card race by a game. Think about that for a moment. As bad as things are right now, things won't stay like this. We have too much talent to be playing this poor of baseball.
  5. Coverage on ESPN now for whoever doesn't get NESN.
  6. When was the last time we were no hit? Have Orsillo or Remy mentioned it on NESN? I am at work.
  7. I guess we'll agree to disagree then. He is a decent infielder and fair hitter. That's all I want from a backup infielder. Anyway, this hurts to watch. Actually, more like embarrassing.
  8. You're right, Kilo. Let's just say Cora sucks. Who cares that he drove in the winning run against the Blue Jays and the Yankees in consecutive days last year? He's a P.O.S., trade him. It doesn't matter that he had a .985 fielding percentage at SS/2B for us last year with just four errors in 260 chances. He sucks defensively. You guys are right. Get rid of him.
  9. Anyway, back to the game: Let's Go Sox. C'mon Hansen.
  10. Give me a break. So as a backup IF, if he hits .150 but is outstanding defensively, that's all that matters? Besides, he's not as poor defensively as you are are making him out to be. He has a career .983 fielding %. Furthermore, he proved to us last year how clutch he can be at the plate. And yes, he is a key component. As in, when Lugo gets injured, I know I can count on Cora to step in and do the job.
  11. Some of the things you guys say out of emotion is ridiculous. Cora is having one of his best seasons this year. Hell, I am pretty damn pleased that we have backup infielder who is hitting .288 overall and .333 at the Fens. He is a key component to our team. I am just as pissed as anyone else about how we are playing after the All-Star break, but it's not Cora's fault. In case whoever is criticizing Cora didn't notice, there are eight other guys in the lineup that aren't hitting Lackey.
  12. Now that's how you announce a lineup! Thanks Major Dan Begin!
