  1. wow, nice new set up. let's see if i can figure it all out now.
  2. so you've discovered boston dirt dogs, eh?
  3. Thanks for the suggestions everyone. I think we've decided on Anaheim to see the Sox play. Happy Holidays
  4. I'm not really putting much of a limit on that. Boston is so far from West Texas that I'd just like to get some pretty nice seats hopefully for not too high of a price.
  5. It looks like I'm finally going to get the chance to make my first trip up to Boston and to Fenway Park this next year. Most likely in June or July. I also get to pick the game. (or in other words the team we play -- can't be the Yankees) Which one should I choose? June vs: Baltimore, Anaheim, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Cleveland July vs: Toronto, Tampa Bay, Minnesota I saw both the Reds and Guardians play last year so I've narrowed those two out. I'm leaning towards Anaheim, but with a great team like that coming in tickets maybe tough to get. Thanks for your opinion & if there is anything else I should know about Fenway Park or Boston please let me know.
  6. maybe it's because i'm from Texas.... but this is no contest, the NYY choke was the worst in sports history. W' 04, Kicking a$$ for four more years!
  7. no, it's true alright. and the reason is isn't on yankees.com is because they along with all other MLB official sites are slow to update.
  8. They had till midnight to get it done and I just saw it on ESPNEWS that it finally happened.
  9. Give me that survey at the end of the summer after I make my first trip to Fenway
  10. Stats provided by http://yankeessuck.com/ Derek Jeter batting: .292 A-Rod batting: .286 Kevin Brown: 1 padded glove enough said.
  11. woops, read that wrong and just now realized it. He will be missed.
  12. Just gives me more reason to respect him. W. 2004!
  13. exactly what yeszir said, we don't want to jinx it. I want the Sox to bring it home tonight, but I'm not going to say it's a definite thing.
  14. YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!!! WOW, WHAT A WIN!
  15. yeah, i'm sure that's it.
  16. your exactly right acchon. and as much as i'd hope he'd be back next year, i highly doubt it.
  17. Haven't heard about that either. I don't think that Sox fans are saying that. That is just plain classless to say anything of that sort. I can't imagine what Rivera has gone through.
  18. we'll win. it's tough being down 0-2, but we're returning to Fenway and I still like our shots.
  19. not worried quite yet. if we need Schil in another game in this series I'm still confident that he'll come through.
  20. stupid yankees, do you not realize that you can't win games anymore just because your the yankees? you will lose the series because the Red Sox are the better team.
  21. should be a great series! Let's Go Red Sox!
  22. Even if it does go to 7 games, yeszir is right about the series....it won't be as dramatic (as far as walk off homers and fights) BTW, my first post
