Has anybody noticed how low-scoring the LDS games have been so far?

I just ran the numbers and it's pretty incredible.

In 10 games we have a grand total of 54 runs and 117 hits.

Teams are averaging 2.7 runs and 5.85 hits per game.

The most any team has scored in a game is 5 runs, which has happened twice.

Wow, pretty eye-opening about how pitching dominates in the offseason.  I know some of that has to do with fewer off-days, which results in your best pitchers covering a higher percentage of innings.

Now, to start some trouble, this is also why Big Papi really was clutch! 😉

Pitching dominates. In each series (except where Ben Rice stat padded), the team with the most HRs is ahead in the series.

This postseason is just because a lot of teams feature ex-Red Sox pitchers.

Last night we saw the NL showdown between Pivetta and Dustin May. Meanwhile the White Sox dominate the AL with Jordan Hicks, David Sandlin and Sean Newcombe -- still influenced by his roots, as evidenced throwing away a comebacker (a requirement to toe the rubber in Beantown).

And John Schreiber closed out Boston in WC Game 1. That must have had Tampa smirking... Tolle and Gray couldn't beat the Yankees, but Cam Booser could!

The Red Sox may not be able to develop any power hitters, but they sure can pump out playoff pitchers.

You'll be excited to learn who the Game 4 starter is for the Padres.

I heard Brez was bragging the other day how 7 Red Sox players this year upped their HR totals Good, but the Red Sox ended up with 23 less HR than the year before. No one on the Red Sox hit more than Bregman, and certainly not Alonso.🤔

What were you watching? Career highs for Caleb, Mona, Mickey, Sogie and Tony Seagulls!

And the most invigorating Brez statement is that the offseason plan is to "develop even more power internally" (just think of the budget that saves: no money blown on actual new humans... they'll only have to pay for lots of rice and beans).

Who need Paredes, Herrera, Marte, Arozarena and a dumptruck full of juiced minor league baseballs like they pitched to Arias?

The bullpens are too far away. Bring the RF fence line in!!! Other teams do it every year, why can't we?

I didn’t watch 1 second of BS, but I’ve heard fans discussing it.

Don't tell me he's skipping school again. I can see it for his girlfriend, but not for the Brewers (unless they're tapping a good nut brown ale or stout; it's cold up here now).

And put the Monster 15 feet behind the infield dirt!

Better yet, move the infield.  Put home plate where second base is and just push everything else forward.  Put the mound 60 feet out there in CF.   First benefit is lots more home runs.  Second one is crazier wild pitches with 150 feet between home plate and the screen.   Batters could easily circle the bases and score on a dropped third strike

None of that team press conference BS.  Why bother when there’s sensationalistic talk radio opinions floating out there looking for ears to land in?

That may be, but I actually heard it from guys at the club. Not sensationalistic at all unlike some of the talk on here.

Heard what from guys at the club? Which, by the way, sounds like another unimpeachable source…

The BS Sam, and the other 2 stooges were spewing at the presser the other day that i didn’t watch, so i don’t know where an impeachable source would come from, or be needed, and I was just asking things I had heard some guys talk about.
