Has anybody noticed how low-scoring the LDS games have been so far?

I just ran the numbers and it's pretty incredible.

In 10 games we have a grand total of 54 runs and 117 hits.

Teams are averaging 2.7 runs and 5.85 hits per game.

The most any team has scored in a game is 5 runs, which has happened twice.

Wow, pretty eye-opening about how pitching dominates in the offseason.  I know some of that has to do with fewer off-days, which results in your best pitchers covering a higher percentage of innings.

Now, to start some trouble, this is also why Big Papi really was clutch! 😉

Pitching dominates. In each series (except where Ben Rice stat padded), the team with the most HRs is ahead in the series.

This postseason is just because a lot of teams feature ex-Red Sox pitchers.

Last night we saw the NL showdown between Pivetta and Dustin May. Meanwhile the White Sox dominate the AL with Jordan Hicks, David Sandlin and Sean Newcombe -- still influenced by his roots, as evidenced throwing away a comebacker (a requirement to toe the rubber in Beantown).

And John Schreiber closed out Boston in WC Game 1. That must have had Tampa smirking... Tolle and Gray couldn't beat the Yankees, but Cam Booser could!

The Red Sox may not be able to develop any power hitters, but they sure can pump out playoff pitchers.

You'll be excited to learn who the Game 4 starter is for the Padres.

I heard Brez was bragging the other day how 7 Red Sox players this year upped their HR totals Good, but the Red Sox ended up with 23 less HR than the year before. No one on the Red Sox hit more than Bregman, and certainly not Alonso.🤔
