2024 doing a LOT of lifting for Duran.

"Actually, if you average out his last three seasons, he's still a 4.5 WAR guy!"

Even before 2026, he was still coming off a 4 fWAR season…

Contreras could have played DH

Haven’t the Red Sox been at their best when they’ve had a dedicated POWER bat as the DH?

Not sure why the Sandoval deal bothers so many.  Do people really think the other option for that $18mill was Dylan Cease?

Sandoval came back just when the Sox needed another starter and gave the Sox 70 innings.  He was brought on to be depth, and depth he was.

I assume the Sox will sign another rehab pitcher at some point, if the right deal can be found…

Sandoval 2/18.25M

Same offseason:

Andrew Kittredge 2/18M

Josh Bell&Kyle Finnegan 1/12M

Grichuk&Martin Perez 1/10M

There are lots of ways to spend Sandoval's money and reclaim value in '25 and either have a guy for '26 or have money left over to spend.

I didn't care then and I care even less now. They have lost so much trade value in him and it's all your fault. 😤

Where have we heard this from?

Everything goes by his desk per his bike ride to WEEI 25 years ago.

Look at what bands charge for concerts.

It's not the bands setting the prices...
