It is time for the bats to get working and pound out an easy victory for the team and Bennett . 

The BP is reasonably well set up to close this series with a win and go into an off day.

A win today also guarantees a .500 season  which in the old days of the 50's and 60's would have been an achievement.   Now it is a minimum requirement which was not achieved a couple times in the past 5 years

Which would seem to imply that Adley's elbow is currently chronic and sore .   For Rutschman, the end of the season can't come soon enough.   He will labor through whatever run the Sox can make but he may be a part time parti

This doesn't have to mean Rutschman is aching, but getting more precautionary rest -- like they just did pushing Suarez' next start back a week (like Gray last week)...

... and ensuring Mickey stays sharp at multiple positions so they can justify keeping his bat on the postseason roster -- and not have to watch/listen to Six States of protesters storming the Fenway front offices and even rioting if they get shutout by Schlittler and Bad Company.
