Wasn’t you touting Mayer, and little Anthony when they went 5-6 on opening day?

"Touting?" I wouldn't call it that, but okay. Yes, I mentioned a couple players had a good game.

Shoot me.

For Walker, it's nice to see a former top prospect finally figure it out. I don't think he's going to get MVP votes this season, but maybe he's cementing himself as a fulltime player going forward.

Part of me wonders if the path Walker has taken is what could be in store for KC.

Walker is 6'6, 250 lbs

Jordan Walkers wrists are the size of my biceps, KC just isnt built that way.  A better comparison to Walker is Roman Anthony because they are both going to struggle to maintain their athleticisms as they continue along in their careers.  And its fine, probs.  You either move them to 1b, dh, or you live with the fact that they are both too muscular to be perfect defensive outfielders.

Many felt Fenway was made for Willson, but he's looked fine on the road, too, thanks to today.

IMHO, it is so much more than that.  I feel a Papi vibe.  He plays smart BB, on a team that, well, enough said.  He seems to be always smiling, and that helps when you have kids that might be struggling.  I'm not sure he is a great fielder, but this is like when we switched from Devers to Bregman, where you have this peaceful feeling that a GB to 3rd, with 2 outs and a guy on 1st, is actually a good.

And some other sites are probably leaping on accusations about Jordan Walker taking steroids

I'll gladly acknowledge that anyone 'could' be using, but I don't see anything compelling about Walker.  The guy has always been really big.  And the Cards development team gave him the Jo Adell treatment.  Walker got promoted at age 20, with no AAA ABs.  Almost no one can succeed at that level.

Agreed. I'm so glad he got off to a good start and didn't have to deal with fan rumblings.

You relate everything to physique and that's not how the world works.

If you do 30 pushups everyday for the next 2 months, I promise you that you will see the difference in your bowling average.

4 sets of 7 per day, until you can do 10, then 3 sets of 10 ......every day......2 months from now, you'll be rolling strikes and thanking me.

It didnt warrant a serious response or defense.  I didnt make Jordan Walker 6'6  , 260 lbs but it was always a huge part of the reason why he went so high in the draft.  James Woods, Jordan Walker, Aaron Judge.  Having a big body and a lot of muscles helps.  Even the 6'5+ shortstops like Elly and Oneil (before they moved him).  Size helps.  Judge wouldnt be Judge if he was 6'1 , 190 and neither would Jordan Walker.  Jordan is a giant of a man, bigger than 100% of NFL linebackers and now he is hitting HR after HR and his wrists are the size of my calves and his calves are the size of my house.

And you cant talk about the guy fairly while glossing over that.  The fact that he use to play infield now he plays outfield is not what defines him.
