De Leon -- five frames with the lead -- is now qualified for his first big league victory since... last decade ('19)!

But who has to get 12 more outs on the mound? De Leon.

I think we called up Beaneater's Mom to get us a few outs.

Nate Lowe with an .866 OPS his last 14 days. Not really slugging but getting on base at a .455 clip. What a pickup he has been. Him masa and ceddanne all getting how this time is amazing.

A certain other MLB pitcher on a team headed to the postseason won 4 games this year, his first wins since 2019.  Know who?

Hint: He used to pitch for Boston…

Can't be Eovaldi, Sale or ERod because their teams are toast. Porcello? Price?

Wait, you didn't say he pitched for Boston in '19, just won somewhere.

2019... Kashner! He must have won four in his old-timers league.

Nope. Unless Cleveland -- down 2 in the 7th -- can rally to win, AND Toronto blows a 4-run lead, AND the Yankees win...

... we're going to New York.

So might as well nail down a W in the last regular season game at Fenway.

They’re doing a lousy job of it, or maybe the Tigers were just wanted #6 more.

As I said somewhere else, neither team took this game all that seriously.  No frontline pitchers were ever going to be used and multiple regulars on both sides were going to sit.

We can beat the Yankees.
