Yankees came out witj more energy than the Sox. More desperation it seemed. Nothing would shock me from this team this weekend.

Actually, the Yankems have a better offense than the Sox at this point in the season. Offensively, the Sox don't have Anthony or Bregman.

I am not injury excuse maker. This team has to be ready. A Yankees sweep here wouod pretty much be sweet to them after we dominated them this whole season.

Chisholm signaling the change up to the hitter.  Only stuck his arm out when the change was coming.  He got in Kelly’s head about it.  It was so obvious.

I'm sure there's plenty of room in Kelly's head.

Can't you wait until tomorrow's game before you start predicting a sweep?

True, but he was missing badly with it because he knew Chisholm was doing it.

Escapes successfully so no harm done.

I blame Breslow for all the Sox injuries. He should have known how fragile this team was.

As for Devers; good riddance.

Every team has injuries it’s why you re load at the Every  team deals with it all year. Breslows ego as the smartest guy in the room hurt this team all year.

"Ego?"

This is the best Sox team since 2018.

If this is hurting, I don't wanna know helping.

The Dodgers, Mets, Yankees and Tigers have all dealt with more injuries than the Sox as have other teams.  Those teams were much more active at the deadline which will play a significant role in who makes it and who doesn’t

Except some teams have an unusually large amount like the Sox had this season. You know this, but it doesn't fit your argument concerning Breslow, so you ignore it.

Wrong on injuries.

Maybe right on deadline help.

Best since 2018 says little since they’ve had no place to go but up

Sox injuries are not even in the top 10.  They’ve had some but less than a lot of others

Breslow has done nothing to make this team better.  He’s made them worse with horrible deadline nothingness and a bag of baseballs for one of the best hitters in the game.  I agree Devers was checked out and needed to go but how do you not get real talent in return?

The DFAing of Lowe is starting to make more sense.

Honeymoon is over.  He was dfad by one of the worst teams in the league.  What did we think we were going to get ?  Another Breslow scrap heap move

Oh, some other teams saw their 26th man get hurt more often.

It's not just about max days on the IL, it's about who is on the IL.

The Yanks lost Cole for the whole season, That was huge.

The Dodgers lost more than the Sox.

The Astros always have 3-5 top SP'ers on the IL.

We lost 4 of our top 7-8 SP'ers, 2 for the full season and 2 for more than 2/3rd of it: Houck (our ace last year) Crawford (our IP leader last year) Sandoval (all year) and Dobbins (2/3.) We also saw some missed games by Bello & Gio. Criswell pitched a gem and then has been out. That's not even going into Fitts (our 8th or 9th best) and Perales (our best minor league arm last DEC.) We lost Slaten for much of 2025 and Wink for all of it.

Casas went down early, Bregman for a while and then our best player, Anthony. Our best infield depth, Mayer, missed a big chunk. Now, Abreu is out.

We are certainly top 10, and maybe top 5-6.

You lost all cred.

"Made 'em worse."

Did you just become a baseball fan? Did you watch us play last year? 2023? 2022?

This offense is a couple of pieces away to really compete. Having guys like Hamilton, Eaton, Lowe, etc speaks volumes.

Crochet made us worse: check.

Chapman made us worse: check.

Narvaez sucks: check.

Bregman sucks: check.

Slaten & Gio are bums: check.

As far as actual games missed the Sox are not on the top 10.  LA  Mets White Sox Yankees Tigers Astros Orioles twins Phillies Guardians

What has he added?  He’s riding on Blooms minor league acquisitions.  Tell me how he’s made this teams better?  Him specifically?
