I have not lost faith. Yes, I had little faith he could regain by the end of 2025. Last night offers more hope than I had before.

Why so little faith in Romy, Campbell and Garcia?

Just a little more faith in Yoshida because he has a track record.  Romy could improve against righties, sure.  Campbell and Garcia have no track records so I can't see turning to them now.  We'll see them again in 2026.

Well, Anthony and Narvaez had "no track record," either.

One major part of the idea to demote Yoshida is to let him play everyday v L and R, until he gets his eye back. It need not be permanent, unless he sucks there, too.

Romy has become an offensive force, especially since last year, so I'm not sure we can count his earlier "track record." His record vs RHPs is incomplete or not very good, granted, until very recently.

Yoshida is showing signs, isn't he?  The last 4 games he has 5 hits and 2 walks.  I don't have an enormous amount of faith in him either, but I think there's sound reasoning behind what they're doing.
