Are we still babying Narvaez by resting him so much?

I'm not against the idea, and Wong has actually done better on O, recently.

My thought is that playing Narvaez less makes him better.  Catching is strenuous,

I agree. He needed the rest and may still need more. Let's make sure he's okay, and in the meantime, let's watch Wong improve on O and keep playing much better defense than he ever has, before.

Not going to bluesky, but I do like the lineup:  6 lefty bats and 3 righty; Rafaela in CF and Hamilton at 2b, Not a Yoshida fan these days, but why not with Mayer and Abreu both out?

The first five hitters--Anthony, Bregman, Duran, Story, and Lowe--look pretty good.  The next four--Yoshida, Rafaela, Hamilton, and Wong--not so good.

The Orioles are going with 4 lefty bats, 4 righty bats, and one switch hitter. 😁

If Wong keeps improving, it will be nice to two catchers rather than 1 1/2.

Need Abreu and Ref back.

Love to see Payton Tolle pitch, but not before he's ready.

Sugano was tough 5 days ago vs Sox:  5 IP, 0 ER.

The Sox were 0/13 with RISP in that game.  Lowe tied it in the 9th with a dinger and Gonzalez on 1b.  The Sox first run was on a balk.

The Sox bullpen went 7 freaking innings giving up just 1 ER.

Here's hoping the good Sox show up this week.

Yup, and...

TOR is 1-11 v TBR, NYM & HOU (They'd be behind us without just 2 of those teams.)

NYY is 5-15 v BOS & TOR (They'd be at .500 w/o those two teams)

SEA is 1-11 vs 3 teams...

and on and on...

So, after the get rid of playing your own division so much, we start mopping up?

So this bullpen by committee strategy is better than either WB or Harrison, or even Fitts pitching as a starter.  So we exhaust the arms in our pen to experiment with this strategy?  Don’t get it.  I realize a few guys can come up and go down to supplement the pen but this feels disruptive for no reason

I am thinking the waiver wire

He’s proven to either not be ready or not talented enough but we pedal him out there expecting a different result.
