He looks like he’s just enjoying the game of baseball again. He’s also healthy. He has no pressure at this point of his career. He has nothing else to prove or earn. He’ll be a HOF for sure.

I’m not ready to give up on Campbell. I need to see him play at least two full seasons. I would like to see Grissom as well. Seems like both are raking lately, again. I would have called either instead of Hamilton.

Not just a hot streak, but apparently a complete reversal of the last 3 seasons.  The Royals had the 2d best team ERA in MLB going into this game, so the Sox 8 runs were pretty amazing.  

This was a Monday night game against a so-so Royals team, and the attendance was freaking 37,585.  FredLynn may hate this team but the paying fans like it a whole bunch.

Whatever makes you think I hate this team? What I didn’t like is that Breslow had the opportunity to make them better at the deadline. I also don’t like their defense at times. There are……certain players….that could improve quite a bit. 
Fact is we are finally in contention for playing baseball in October-though there are still a lot of games left in which to blow it as they have in many years past. If they steady their course and avoid significant injuries the fans will finally be able to watch them play in October.

I would have extended him next year or the next then and gain time of service. Kind of my point.
