Dodgers are 4-11 in their last 15.

Sheehan generates a lot of chase, so his numbers may be a little deceiving. Sox may do worse than the 4+ ERA suggests.

Bello has been great at home (648 OPS). Overall since June 1: 2.81 ERA, 3.87 FIP, 7.2 IP per start.

Kiké is out with an elbow injury and is most likely missing the series. Mookie may miss tonight's game due to personal reasons.

Thanks.  It has occurred to me that playing the Rays, Cubs, Phillies, and Dodgers is like playing in the postseason--except for how many starters (3?) you need in the postseason.

The Dodgers have great hitting and so-so pitching.  The Sox have good hitting and good pitching.

Tonight sure looks like another game when Rafaela moves to 2b so Cora can get three lefty OF bats into the lineup.  Plus Yoshida at DH and Toro at 1b.  Righty bats would be Bregman, Story, Rafaela, and Narvaez.

Mayer had his MRI yesterday.

No MRI update yet.

I know.  Mayer had injury issues in the minors.  And this one was caused by swinging the bat (!!??).

He injured the same wrist in '22. Maybe it was something that still kind of lingered?

Kiké most likely out.

Mookie probably out.

Aramark concession workers now most likely out for the full series.

Will fans be sneaking in food and beverages in the way I did back in the 90's and early 00's? We'll see!

The FLOPS are 4th in ERA in the AL and second in OPS and runs scored.

So why it that they are struggling to even maintain a wild card spot in the playoffs instead of competing for the division lead??

Making a very wild card call that Connor Wong will get a key hit tonight, tripling  his RBIO totals for 2025. Wishing him luck !

Something going on with Mookie. He is slumping badly. He has had injury issues. Now, there is talk that he could miss the game for some personal reason.

I have pretty much given up on us getting anything significant at the trade deadline. Bres thinks he can go with what we have.......well good luck.

Despite Dodgers' $407M luxury tax payroll, they are not a shoe in this year. Their starting pitching seems a bit shaky against playoff teams.

i'll take that bet.

Yoshida needs to improve his slugging %. I don't give a damn about sample size. We can't have a DH with .333 slugging %.

Compare that with Gonzalez's team leading .544. Are you telling me that he just can't hit right handed pitchers?

I rather Gonzalez DH than Yoshida. To me, he only plays because of his contract.

Tampa Bay is not trailing Texas. They are both 1 1/2 games behind the Sox.

Our Sox announcers spew tons of erroneous information. Very unprofessional.

Yoshida Ks on a ball in the dirt. This team isn’t going anywhere and one reason is that too few hitters have any plate discipline at all

Good to know. Less disappointment at the end of September.

The Ms got Naylor. We could have used him.
