Time for your patented oughta here, isn’t it?

Almost. Rafaela throws the ball ten feet over Wongs head. More little league baseball.

Brayan Bello, at No. 114 overall.

There are a number of familiar faces in the wide swath between the two current rotation pieces, including Chris Sale (No. 5), Nick Pivetta (No. 30), Nathan Eovaldi (No. 43), Michael Wacha (No. 96), Quinn Priester (No. 102) and Eduardo Rodriguez (No. 103).

The rest of the 2025 Red Sox are Walker Buehler (No. 116), Kutter Crawford (No. 130), Richard Fitts (No. 142) and Lucas Giolito (No. 145).

If you go 5 deep per team, there are only 150 slots. Just look at these rankings. We are pathetic.

I am so disgusted by our approach to acquiring starting pitching via injured players.

Instead of pissing away $10-20M, why not just pay $25-$30M and get an injury free starter.

Think how much money we've wasted on a guy like Giolito.

Thank God we traded for Crochet. I hope they learned their lesson. Pitching controls games. I would give up Devers and $15M for the pitcher from Pittsburgh. And I'm serious.

I don't want nice manager, nice GM. I want hard asses that can manage and acquire talent. We have failed. If things don't improve, it's time to implode the roster.

Get what you can for Duran, Abreu, Buehler, Giolito, Chapman, etc. Go get top of the line pitchers.

If all our ex-pitchers are doing well, it's probably not our current players that are the problem, its the system. But I agree with you, I'm all about the pitching. Get more and better starting pitching as well as bullpen, and definitely different manager, GM, philosophy etc.. And yes, not as much of a players manager like Cora. I don't want a crazy hard-ass like Valentine though but more of a Bochy, Torre style. The chill, grounded type to do right by the newbies.

Fred Lynn played for the Angels. So it makes perfect sense you should root for them.

I’m rooting for what’s best for the Flops. That would be losing as many games as possible.

Missed actually seeing the game until Rafaela airmailed one but, I'm guessing:

1.     Bello's lack of control led to a couple baserunners, followed by a hit to Rafaela who threw it up to the HP net.

2. Angel outfileders and relays throw better than our guys.

3. Angel runners are faster than Toro

4. Angel bleeder hits score two.

The home team is more like homeless

This game is far from over. Both teams are equally mediocre.

But the Angels are MORE mediocre than the Flops

Campbell only gets  third on Duran's double.  I can picture why , it may have been caught , why get thrown out at home with Devers coming up ?

Toro was signed for his bat, not his speed. Who knew he would be Brooks Robinson at 3rd?
