He's not getting a long look, he's just a AAA guy who plays OF and Anthony/Abreu have been out.

I don’t think this has anything to do with Toro, or Trayce, but someone said the other day was to pay more attention to the lineup when the Red Sox play at home.

That's typically because the MLB guys don't often travel in Spring Training.

I think Romy is safe no matter what they do at 2B.

Philly first baseman Christian Arroyo already stole two bases in one inning. Maybe pitchers (cough, ottavino) don't pay much attention to baserunners in the Grapefruit League... but Red Sox catching this season could be all Wong.

WTH just happened?  Houck pitched to seven batters (3 hits, 2W and 3runs) and got lifted; reliever gets a double-play.    Now Houck is said to be pitching in the second inning.  No tv or radio--  Anyone know what just went down?

Oh, I see.  Didn't realize you can bring a pitcher back in ST.  Didn't matter; he wasn't much better the second time through the order.

Regular baseball rules don't matter in Spring Training. In the MiLB games, you can even decide to end innings early, add extra outs if pitchers need to face another batter or two or let an MLB hitter hit 20 times in a game if you feel like it.
