The logo seems pretty cool.

Going through the shop, there's too many alternate designs already. Like c'mon. You can't even get a regular fitted Yak logo hat that isn't courduroy.

If the twins ask for Justin Gonzales in a trade for Joe Ryan, does bres-slow say no, even though we have a surplus of outfielders now??

It will take more than Gonzales, but he would not say no to something like Gonzales, Clarke and Sandlin, IMO.

It wouldn't hesitate on that trade.

IMO, Minny hangs up the phone and changes the number.

Breslow says yes, I think everyone inside the Sox organization says yes.  But the twins would likely want much more than that.  At best he's 4 years away from the majors, I don't think you don't trade a guy like that because you worry about what holes you may have 4 years from now.

FWIW BTV accepts the trade of Jarren Duran and Justin Gonzalez for Joe Ryan.

I know what you meant by this comment but I still got the thought in my head of Minnesota calling up and asking for Justin Gonzalez and then when Breslow obliges Derek Falvey just does a 180 yells and hangs up the phone like a prank call.

I think he says no to that.  You have zero MLB ready players, zero top 100 guys in that group.

One has to believe Minnesota would get a better offer than that.

That is what I meant. Gonzales is included in the trade package?

With so few hitting prospects, maybe we should hold onto him. Can he play 1B?

Negative

Well, we added some 1B and C depth on the farm. Those were the two most empty slots on the farm.

I think soxpropsects.com updates their list, this week. I'm not sure they have Romero top 10 either, but he should be close.

Personally, I like the potential Witherspoon has, and I can understand why injuries can drop players in the rankings, but I might put Perales 4th and Garcia 5th with Witherspoon 6th. I like Fajardo more than Valera, but I understand why Valera is ahead of him and am fine with it.

As of now, I'd go...

1. Tolle

2. Early

3. Arias

4. Perales

5. Garcia

6. Witherspoon

7. Fajardo

8. Valera

9. Gonzales

10. Clarke

11. Soto

12. Phillips

13. Godbout

14. Holobetz

15. Romero

16, Paez

17. Travieso

18. Azocar

19. Delzine

20. Jo Garcia/Sandlin/Eyanson/Monegro/Mullins

There was a second update where they took out Clarke and added Leighton Finley at 60.

Here's some of what Mike Andrews posted:

Debuts
Luke Heyman at 34
Gerardo Rodriguez at 60

Grades
Connelly Early ceiling from 5.5 to 6**
Mikey Romero ceiling from 5.5 to 5
Henry Godbout ceiling from 5.5 to 6**
Tyler Uberstine projection from 4 to 4.5
Shane Drohan projection from 4 to 4.5
Jedixson Paez ceiling from 5.5 to 5
Yoeilin Cespedes ceiling from 6 to 5**
Miguel Bleis ceiling from 5.5 to 5**
Johanfran Garcia set at 4, 3-5.5

Not a surprise to see them decrease Cespedes and Bleis's ceilings. Early and Godbout are notable increases to ceilings. For reference, a 6 is an impact everyday player (not quite All Star level), while a 5 is just an average player.

Fit Finlay? Does he have his trusty shaleleigh? Is Hornswaggle in the sidecar?

I don't pretend to know more than sps.com, but I'd go with....

8>7 Fajardo

7>8 Gonzales

11>20 Sandlin

14>11 Godbout

(everyone after Godbout up one, except Holobetz & Travieso ahead of Uberstine and Drohan)

22 Bleis and 23 Cespeded to 32 and 33 and Castro 25 to below 35, so...

22 Azocar

23 Jo Garcia (from 29)

24 Delzine

25 Ramos

26 Rivas

27 Monegro (31)

28 Aita (36)

29. Taylor

30. Cason

31. Heyman

Me, too.

Maybe having Tolle and Early, as well as Perales in the system will take some of the spotlight off Valera a bit, but we have so many very promising pitchers in the next group poised for a big jump, that I'm super pumped up.

The two 19 year olds, Valera and Fajardo are equally exciting to me.

The three college draftees, all 21, can show major growth, too: Witherspoon, Phillips & Eyanson.

I'm pretty pumped up about 23 year old Holobetz, 18 year old Travieso & 17 year old Soto, too.

These older guys hold some promise, and maybe one surprises us with a big jump: Sandlin (24) Uberstine (26) Drohan (26) & Mullins (26)

I'm not sure about Paez (21) Monegro (23) and Delzine (17.)
